- Used to be good. Now they randomely pop-up a new window to force me pay for the extension. Sure, I would love to, but if you keep trying to export subscription from me, 100% I won't. Such an annoying experience. Looks like it's been taken over by PE. I don't recommend it.

- Was typing in another window entirely and the nag tab opened and forced a browser window open and took focus off where I was typing. Just no. Open your nag in the background.

- Using it for years, and I am happy. Nothing is perfect.

- Adblock works well, no problems for years with it protecting, and contributing is optional.

- It used to be great, but lately they are bombarding you with pop-ups that doesn't close when you press the X, and it opens pages that ask you to pay for "premium features". I get that development takes time and effort, but this ain't how you ask for funding. I'm moving to other solutions

- It works okay, less user friendly than Adguard. Some websites still manage to send me to redirects that lead to ads for betting sites....

- I was happy with its' ability to block Ads... but lately Chrome just kept crashing, multiple times a day. Since disabling this extension, no crashes at all....

- Once Snopes is blocked you can't unblock it.

- As with any extension, there is an occasional hiccup - but this is usually caused by the websites or by a Chrome browser update. Some websites do seem to be immune (e.g., stocktwits.com), but even then you can manually block segments of the website for the loudest parts. The only ACTUAL negative for AdBlock itself is when they add a new feature that is perhaps not "user friendly" (such as when they added the "Allow Adblock Plus to show occasional promotional messages" ... "feature") these are usually turned ON by default without any warning to the user, and it takes some time to figure out how to turn them off. That is the ONLY reason I deduct one star from the free version. Otherwise, I am very happy with this extension, and have used it for literally OVER a decade!

- Yo this is something peak. But it is pretty annoying sometimes as well. Ya' know, when you open the extension sometimes, it pops up and kinda advertises its own premium which is a bad part about it.

- It does it's job. It doesn't catch all ads and it opens annoying tabs saying "We've blocked XYZ number of ads for you!" begging you to give it money and there's many pop ups asking to pay them to block cookies.

- It is good as a free app, however now in Chrome tabs causes lag on whitelisted sites.

- Hey Adblock, years long user here. The X on the "block cookies" ad popup (for super) is superannoying and blocks the use of Facebook (it's phsyically in the way). Fix please.

- This extensions works so well, it blocked all 84 ads on a website.

- Friendly reminder for new users: Go to Settings > General and UNCHECK 'Allow Acceptable Ads'. Otherwise, you're still going to see 'approved' Google and Amazon ads. It’s annoying that this is on by default in 2026, but once you toggle it off, the blocking is actually solid.
