• (2025-09-10) Downloaded this yesterday had thought it would do the trick but sadly more so on YouTube when I click to play a video I am getting annoying adverts prior to the video starting, any ideas on this.

• (2025-09-08) It kinda works on youtube, but it keeps auto-scrolling down like 3 shorts to another ad which makes the extension auto-scroll again, makes shorts basically unwatchable. Also has pop-ups, not user-friendly, hard to learn how to use. Ublock Origin/Lite is way better, but it just doesn't work on youtube now, which is why I installed this piece of garbage.

• (2025-09-04) Not the adblock you used to know get Adguard instead if you still wanna support Chromium browsers and also works on Firefox incase Google wants to deceptively remove adblockers even though the FBI recommends to use them. This Adblocker is way absolete now Adguard is an unmatched adblocker focused on cybersecurity and adblocking that Google is violating the rights to use and no it's not illegal to use adblockers shame on you Google I'm reporting you to the FBI again looks like you didn't learn the last time!
• (2025-09-03) Not sure if this really blocks Youtube ads as I've had to turn it off. Mostly I'm fed up of the "Adblock Plus is up to date" popups which defeat the object of having an app to stop ads & popups. It still interrupts my youtube viewing so it's now turned off and will likely be removed. I'm now trying other options.
• (2025-09-03) I’ve been using ABP for many years—probably close to 10. But at this point, I’m really frustrated with the constant pop-up about updates. Every time I turn on my computer, it’s the first thing I see, and it got exhausting. There is no way to turn that off. Bye now...

• (2025-08-28) It is very distracting to have random tabs open as advertisements for Adblock Plus. That is not only hypocritical on the part of the extension's developers, but it is a huge workflow disruption as well. I would accept something much more understated that does NOT open a separate tab and does NOT interrupt the work I'm doing in the browser (e.g., critical reading). The current behavior of interrupting is THE reason I will not donate to the plug-in's developers. If they correct course, would consider donating in the future.

• (2025-08-27) Adblock Plus used to be good. Now they just bow down to Google Chrome and lick their boots. Doesn't even do a good job at blocking ads. And they want money for premium service? Get out of here. uBlock Origin was the supreme adblocker and they took that away from us (on Chrome). Adblock Plus does not even deserve to be in uBlock Origin's shadow. Nowhere close to the same league.

• (2025-08-25) This add on gave me a pop up. I didn't like that, but humored it. It lead me to a page that detailed how to stay safe on the internet, and what ads were most suspect. They are protecting people and educating people. 5 stars.
