It seems like every time I try to open a new tab I will start typing in the address only to realize this POS has hijacked the new tab to advertise it's premium service. Whoever is responsible for that should be tarred, feathered and then shot into the sun. GTFO

I currently subscribe the service and do the yearly payment to continue to use her service. Wish Adblock to continue her good services at a reasonable price to all her users.

• (2024-04-11) Hush hush: Adblock constantly randomly opens a new tab telling me to upgrade to premium. It's starting to feel a bit like... an ad. I despise ads. Now I have to remove this extension because they sold out to the man. I bet some corporation bought it. It used to be a solid extension! Sure, there was a pop-up asking for support every once in a while, but it was nowhere near as frequent as it is now. I didn't mind being occasionally asked to support the extension; it is free after all. But now it's every single day, including any time I start a new browsing session. It's sad how even this adblock company can't help itself but force ads onto its customers. Will be uninstalling it shortly. There's plenty of better adblockers I've discovered that work way better, have premium options, yet don't constantly shove it in your face. Sad.

• (2024-04-10) Alistair Palk: Adblock plus has become less and less effective over the years, and on top of that they now force open new tabs to advertise their own products and beg for "contributions". I have now removed the Adblock plus extension due to the annoying pop ups and the extensions ineffectiveness.

• (2024-04-07) Condor Skissors_: Removing from all of my browsers due to being constantly spammed by ad-block's own ad-popups every other day when I open my browser, and often even when I'm just opening a new tab to search something. The number of times I've opened a new tab and started typing while looking somewhere else, then turn back to find another Ad-block popup decided to take over is infuriating. This has been going on for years, but it has been getting worse and worse and worse. You have to stop opening a new tab. You should be sending a notification or adding a bubble in one of the corners of the browser that doesn't take over the screen. If Honey and Kudos can do it, then so can you. Reason number two is that many websites now ask us to turn it off anyway, and some websites just stop working correctly.
