- Adblockers needs/gets daily filter lists updates to block YT and other nasty ads. I think that the best AdBlocker for me works is Ublock O Lite, and get rid of chrome and replace it with Firefox, ppl.

- I get the free ad blocker from Ad Blocker and I am very happy with it. It blocks thousands of junky stuff. I can't afford to go to a more advanced app but I truly appreciate what it does for me. When I can afford it I will get the more advanced blocker.

- Works okay but... It keeps showing popup ads of itself and "graciously" giving me a three day trial for the "premium" version without my consent. I see someone called "Elisa Junges" advising people to go to advanced settings page of APB and "unchecking the box next to "Allow Adblock Plus to show occasional promotional messages.". That checkbox does not exist. Makes me wonder if it is a bot. :P

- Been using ADP for awhile now. Definately a must in todays forced ads, pop-ups and paywalls. TIP -- To get full protection go to settings (gear icon). Then to GENERAL and ADVANCED, read these settings 10 minutes of your time for better functionality. Be aware the more filters you run the more your PC works to use AdP. If a website is being nasty about AdP, whitelist it (no AdP functions) on ALLOWED WEBSITES. Last by these devs a cup of coffee or lunch at least this is a great extension. Kind regards~

- Have had this extension installed on my personal laptop for years. Just got a new school laptop and opened YouTube, immediately got an ad, then Googled and downloaded this extension again. It's a godsend.

- I used to love adblock -- until the past month or so when they pop up more ads about themselves than they block, and even remove me from the web page I'm interacting with to take me to a page lauding how wonderful they are. I know what a cookie is -- can you lay off, adblock! I shouldn't have to tell you more than once. Stop it.

It has always blocked ads on Youtube very well, but now they have removed its ability to do that, and moved it into a pay package, to make you pay for the part that works as an ad-blocker. Screw you AB+. Time to find another ad-blocker.

- This extension now charges 50$CAD a year to remove ads on YouTube. I've uninstalled ABP today, and will be moving to a free browser with integrated adblocking instead.
