- They seems confused with their own products. So many people can not access sites and yet I read the reviews and they all never say a thing. About what? Protocols. Wireguard is light, faster and easy to use for most programmers. Yet its sucks in the way its viewed as a VPN to near all traffic. And turn off their add on webcontent that does nothing a good Malware/AV product wouldn't already do. Yes some protocols are slower. But Wireguard can be slow to, when websites have to deal with a VPN. Wireguard hides your identity/ip . But it also tells the world you are using a VPN. Other protocols like OpenVPN have been around decades and intermingle with internet traffic. Slower maybe 3-8% over wireguard. And maybe 15% slower then ISP. But also stable and hides your logs better. Yes Surfshark says they do not log. But OpenVpn protocols, make logging your IP near impossible. While Wireguard could take snap shots of your ISP/IP address and where you went. I've tried talking with them, they are nice people. But also set in their ways. Everyone is wrong and they are right. Wish they knew more about the products they supported all these bad reviews simply because no one tells them,

- Barely works. Absolutely nothing can really be done by customer service that isn't already on their help page. Only really works on a few websites but for the most part the VPN gets detected and I've had multiple accounts banned or webpages blocked because of it.

- This product does block ads, even on Youtube successfully, but it has greatly slowed down my computer, and disconnects often; sometimes multiple times a day. I have to tend to it literally everyday. I want to just set it up and not have to worry about it, unless it's an emergency of some sort. It can now take up to over 30 minutes for my internet and google to come up. I have to restart many times, sometimes, just to get online. I'm thinking I've got to find another security solution.

- I am vacationing in Guatemala and the Surfshark VPN is not designed for somebody outside the USA. It always connects to Mexico because that's the closest connection. Even when the VPN is set to connect to the last connexion (which is the USA) it ignores that setting and continually connects to Mexico requiring a manual adjustment. If you like to travel internationally then this VPN is a nuisance and not for you. There are many others that let you choose a designated geographical place and automatically connects there without problems.

- VPN let's you watch movies that are region locked. Nop, not for me. It let's you see prices from other countries. Nop, the sites block connection if VPN is on. It's super fast. Nop, it sometimes even blocks all internet connection. This is not just SurfShark, i had NordVPN before. Had the same problem. They are getting used to the IP nr's used or something some sites and companies are blocking the VPN connections. SurfShark needs to up their game.

- Considering the price I paid wasn't super cheap, I expected seamless usage on this VPN. I'm getting blocked on quite a few websites. I pause SurfShark and bingo, I'm into the website. (and I'm just using a different city is Australia, so it shouldn't be a 'country' type of blocking. Are SurfShark internet packages being repackaged in such a way that websites are detecting the data traffic is coming from a VPN? I have found that I need to pause SurfShark often to get to reasonably innocuous websites. I have been able to get to sites that I couldn't before when travelling in overseas countries, hence 3 star rating. I've given it a go for 3mths or so, and I can't say it's value for money at this stage.

- when I purchased this VPN. it said is unlimit device use. but they limit the internet data use. if you over use the vpn internet data. They will block your account because over use their vpn internet data. Not unlock again. I m not use for play game. only refresh the page in 5 computer. How much vpn data I can use? I ask surfshark. Their answer is they don't know. they only said the system automatic block my account. That is not right? only use afew months money no more.
