- (2025-06-13) Rajat subhra Das: Irresponsive and buggy, don't use this extension.
- (2025-02-09) Husam: The 1Password Beta Chrome Extension (version 8.10.62.14) has significantly improved performance for me. Specifically, it resolved the freezing and slow loading issues I was experiencing on eBay with the stable version (8.10.60.27). Highly recommend trying the beta if you've encountered similar problems.
- (2024-11-11) Kimberley Oliver: HORRIBLE EXTENSION!! When the password doesn't work through the extension on app and when trying straight to the website and it doesn't login, when trying to fix it, the support group tells me in order to fix it I first need to login....seriously??? I literally said I could not login and I can't do anything! I tried all of the usual uninstall-reinstall-delete cache/cookies-try to reset and so forth. Nothing worked and I kept getting the instructions to login. I'm dumbfounded. I'm not a techie by profession but this should not require that from anyone using the App. Too many problems so I just deleted my account. I sure hope all my information gets deleted that was saved in there!!!!
- (2024-10-11) Kris Brethower: hey devs, i love the extension and have been using it for a while now recently noticed that on duolingo when i try to log in with my existing account it suggests for me to create a new password instead of letting me auto-fill with an existing password: https://www.duolingo.com/?isLoggingIn=true let me know if you need more detail about these issues! best, kris

- (2024-10-02) Bruce Yang: Sometimes takes 10-20 seconds to open. Takes waaaaayyyy to long to open when clicking on the extension icon.
- (2024-07-20) Neiland: Amazing
- (2024-07-05) Troy Hokanson, Realtor (River Road eXp Realty): I've been using 1Password for a few years now. I can't say enough good things about it. I love the integration between the iPhone, browsers (edge chrome, Safari) and Android devices. The updating of passwords is quick and the ability now to keep your 2Factor within the app is outstanding. Thanks for a phenomenal tool that really helps maintain people's privacy. Great work!
- (2024-06-17) Dustin Davidson: Works great, love it
- (2024-06-16) Franz Gerschwiler: It seems with the latest release it has completely lost it's mind. Everytime I log into a site that I have multiple accounts on it asks to save the new acccount (not a new account) not once but twice. Now It seems to have decided that I have to enter the masterpassword each and every time. Effectively useless at this point. How did this release pass testing?
- (2024-05-02) Tim Bailey: I was part of the great LastPass Exodus and tried several password managers before settling on 1Password. It's far and away the best manager overall. I still encounter the very-occasional hiccup for login pages, but this is because of the variation and lack of standards on the websites, not because 1Password is inadequate. New functionality continues to be introduced, some of which is responsive to changes in how site security is managed on the Internet, and some of which is just increased functionality for its own sake. All the evidence suggests that 1Password will continue to improve and I am very glad to recommend it to others.
- (2024-04-29) Marty Carrillo: I've used one password for many years now and it is clearly the best app I have found for password protection and managing.
- (2024-04-25) J. W.: Some great new features and automatic stuff - but failing to work on about 20% of my sites, where it used to work flawelessly. They broke stuff.
- (2024-04-24) Rafiki Ali: Amazingly amazing in it functions, innovations, simplicity and consistency of performance! I caught a glimpse of what I concluded could be a negative post about 1Password. I rarely allow myself to read them. I again, did not read that one. However, I took a moment to reflect on how grateful I am that while my years journey with 1P has not devoid of hiccups, (I always run the beta version, even on my production systems/devices... I'm wild and crazy!), they have been an order of magnitude better than ANY other utility app I have experienced. For who this matters: It's a no-brainer "must have!"
- (2024-04-23) Bo Li: Keep popping error of 1password is trying to unlock the browser extension and not working
- (2024-04-17) Travis Hogan: I use the beta on all my personal devices and always appreciate getting the new features early!
- (2024-04-17) Chandana Sathish: Could not do life without this app
- (2024-04-17) Christopher Conley: Fantastic product and the developer does a nice job of improving the UI without completely changing the experience every release.
- (2024-04-16) Tom Leary: By far the best password manager that continues to have great improvements such as Passkey integration. I love that it works so well with Web pages in the browser, and the 2FA scan and set-up for Websites is incredibly easy.
- (2024-04-16) Zaid Shbool: The best password manager I have ever used period.
- (2024-04-15) Eryck Montes: Great piece of software, can't live without now!
- (2024-04-12) Turgut Derman: Solid and very user friendly Password management for years...
- (2024-04-10) William Shaffer: 1Password is a convenient and secure way to store passwords and other information which need to be secure online. It also works better on iPhones and iPads than other password managers I have tried.
- (2024-04-08) J Bennett: TL;DR: Better than most, much improved since I left; more features, more stable The positives: 1) Covers most features that many others (e.g., Bitwarden, Nordpass) have missing in part. Passkeys, TOTP codes, tags, multiple vaults, breach monitoring, password rating [watchtower]... everything is included 2) Vault unlocking using biometrics is quick and simple 3) Simple to use, UI/UX is functional and clean 4) Lots of customisation options 5) Automatically stops browser built-in PWMs (surprisingly not all do) 6) Updated regularly [beta/nightly] - very small increments sometimes... but is constantly being developed 7) A decent online help repository, and a friendly user community to get help quick 8) Ability to choose US, CA or EU hosting server 9) Lots of categories for storing other data 10) Online storage for attachments/files is included 11) Apple watch compatible The okay: 1) Encryption algorithm is fine, but not exactly the best out there. AES256 is fine, but something that is quantum-resistant would be nicer - especially as the point of the app is to safe-guard all of your passwords (not the weakest hack point - still remains the user and a weak vault password) 2) Performance is fine, no speed issues or delays in unlocking the vault or decrypting the contents 3) Mobile app (Apple) is functional, but clunky compared to Apple Keychain - but so are most of the competition 4) Automatic sign in after autofill is very hit and miss... sometimes it will fill in the login fields correctly, others you have to select manually 5) Despite being originally developed for the Apple ecosphere, autofill login to Apple sites doesn't work (e.g. icloud.com) - as when the username is entered, the next arrow (enter) does not work... you have to type gibberish first, then delete and paste the username manually 6) Save credentials is sometimes hit and miss - as is update credentials 7) UI font for the browser plugin is FAR too big - and cannot be scaled as the desktop app can be 8) Site URI matching is okay but lacks HOST and/or EXACT matching (page/port options lacking) 9) Importing from other PWMs could be easier for beginners - including more platforms (NordPass was not on the list - so ended up going from NordPass >> Bitwarden >> 1Password). Not the best / quickest / easiest onboarding) 10) Unable to customise/change the personal vault (e.g., icon is naff and cannot be changed) 11) Passkeys do not show the icon you assign to the login entry (they continue to show the original icon - even after it has been changed by the user) 12) Categories (lots of them) cannot be renamed (e.g., Social Security Numbers - meaningless outside of North America) - either change automatically based on hosting server, or allow user to rename certain categories) 13) A password history is maintained (in case the change doesn't take) - but no email/username history The negatives: 1) Costlier than the majority of its competition 2) Lack of email masking (e.g. iCloud+ Hide My Email, DuckDuckGo Email) - integration with external providers would be nice, a dedicated built in option would be even better. The built-in secure email integration offering is NOT the same, and expensive 3) Site icons are very hit and miss... I get a lot of sites where the icon doesn't match the current favicon (must be using an internal DB as they are significantly out of date compared to site [some by years]) - and no default icons to choose from 4) Suggestions ALWAYS shows your identities - this needs a toggle to remove them from this list 5) Autofill for user identity on forms is not suggested inline, and not accessible from the context menu 6) Generate password on the context menu would be nice - the context menu offers no worthwhile options at all 7) Ability to permanently ignore matching for a page - an odd/unusual function for most, but it has its uses 8) Cannot flag an item to force re-verification, for items like CC or banking - security could be better
- (2024-03-05) Evgeniya Manolova: Great tool! I have been using it across all my devices and even though it had some issues in the beggining, now works really smooth and reliable
- (2024-02-19) skywardabyss: Honestly, I don't know what these people leaving negative reviews are doing. It must be that they are not used to using a password manager, or maybe they have other issues with their PCs. I rarely ever have issues with 1Password and have been a satisfied customer. Usually, logging out and updating 1Password fixes the infrequent issues I do have. I can only remember one time I had an issue in two years. So many cool features have been built into the product. One of my favorites is that you can limit which vaults can access a particular browser. Then, you can use that browser for work, and when collaborating, the only accounts the other employees or clients will see are those designated for work (limiting unintentional information exposure). The interface is excellent and polished. There are so many reasons why I continue to use 1Password. For every 100 people, I bet only one or less is writing a bad review.
- (2024-01-02) Yusuf Ongel: Even though I'm logged in, the chrome extension won't save any new password sometimes saying that the account is offline. removed, reinstalled the extension but nope, won't change.
- (2023-10-25) Matthew C: Does not work. I have two Google accounts. Works perfectly on one but not the other. So annoying. Please fix this.

- (2023-08-25) Chris Pierce: Best Password Manager around - Full of enrichments other password managers doesn't have for developers and end users alike.

- (2023-08-16) Trishank Kuppusamy: Problem is that their keyboard focus doesn't work: I cannot use the keyboard arrows to choose between credentials between different accounts, and must record the mouse every single time.

- (2023-04-27) Ameen Sayegh: What is going on with this extension lately?! Every five minutes the auto fill popup stop working and have to disable the extension and enable it again! If I can't autofill the password what is the point of having a password manager?!

- (2023-01-27) Andrii Gryshchenko: Worst product on the market ever. First it requires you to come up with 14(!!!) symbol password, then it locks you out with ambiguous message - Password is incorrect(when your account is locked) and no matter how much attempts you do you will not be able to input your correct password. Best part comes after - even thought you have "recovery suite" that was issued at the moment of account creation, it is good for nothing! You can just safely delete it and forget about it - it does not serves any purpose. YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO RESTORE ACCOUNT AFTER LOCKOUT. Once again. Application is trash. Product is trash. User experience is abysmal.

- (2022-08-12) Ralph Jaffe: I've used 1Password for a long time, but only with the greatest reluctance. The company's credo seems to be, "Put out the product as quickly as possible; then use the customers as beta testers. We can fix the flaws later - when we get around to it." I originally rated this with two stars back in June, but I change the review to three stars because the developers made improvements. Specifically, when I click on the app, it opens almost immediately now; before, I had to wait for 30 seconds.

- (2022-05-18) Peter Mello: Switching to this Beta release channel solved all my manifold issues with using 1Password in Microsoft Edge on Kubuntu Linux (I know, I know...password manager with a "Mac-first" history in a browser ripped off from Google by the Evil Empire itself, running on not just Linux, but one of the /alternative/ Linux desktop environments... Gee, what did I expect? A lot of little headaches, and I wasn't disappointed! None of that changes the fact that since switching from the version of 1Password in the Edge Add-ons Store to this beta version from the Chrome Web Store, both my passwords and I couldn't be happier!! ;-P)
