- Unusable. Simple task - record video about what happens on tab (for bug reporting). Simple? Not so simple. Registration (why it's necessary TO RECORD VIDEO AND SAVE IT LOCALLY?!). which require 3! email confirmations. About 10! nag screens about what connecting this or what. Recorder finally started - not so - constant requests to enable microphone (this PC DOESN'T have any and it's not necessary for tab recording anyway). Constant confusing popups which overlay actual tab.

- Loom is absolutely AWFUL. It tries to use ai to fix everything and when I recorded it sped up my audio slightly to where it broke and sounded terrible. I also couldn't get my camera to work most of the time when presenting google slides full screen.

- Used to be my go to extension for screen recordings, however recently they've started to prevent you from downloading the videos... Presumably to annoy you until you purchase more space.At that point, I think I'd rather just use the OS's screen capture tool

- While this may be a good app if you were to pay a few hundred dollars a month, it is awful for free. This is especially a big problem because this is one of the first sites that comes up for free recording software. Not only this, but you are not even able to download the videos!

- Couldn't log in - couldn't authenticate says on screen to get in touch with loom but no contact info??? So I've had to create a new account with a different email I don't use that's unmanned will create a headache when it's time to do accounts and vat returns all invoices should come to my biz email but re issue can't log in. ???

- Mac user. This was good 2 years ago. Now I hate it. Spent 25 mins recording and re-recording an SOP but it kept freezing up. And the worse part: I am a paying user with tons of glitches. On Chrome you can be recording but unsure--the management bar disappears. When I swap tabs, the timer is MIA. I don't know if I'm recording 75% of the time because the play/pause button is missing or unclickable.

- Used to be good but its so bugged now. Im a paying user but still get a lot of issues. On chrome, when i switch tabs, the timer goes AWOL. Can't guess if i'm still recording or not because the timer stops all of sudden and play/pause is unclickable.

- There's a bug when you reload the page or click a link during a recording the video stops recording and the extension crashes. This leads to so much wasted time and I have to constantly re-record clips. This is a massive usability issue while this bug exists.

- Poor options to export videos. Only saves in mpeg4 format which has limited availability and support on MAC OS. Asking for $24/month which is a high amount for such a simple product that has very limited use.

- Basic functions are paywalled. You cannot download a recording or make basic edits (such as cutting your video) without signing up for the subscription. What little functionality the free version offers it does well and is easy to use. Loom operates like a free trial to a paid service, and should not be advertising itself as a free recording tool with an optional premium subscription.

- Hi, I’m having a really frustrating issue with my Loom accounts. I have a Pro account linked to one of my emails, but Loom keeps opening my free account by default, even after I deleted that free account. It still takes me into the onboarding journey for the free plan, and there's no clear logout button on that page. Now every time I try to log in, I’m stuck in this loop with an unfinished free account setup, and I can’t access my Pro account at all. I just want to log out from the free account and never see it again. Please help me fix this, it’s really blocking my work.

- Would never use it if not for the company. It pops up, but never starts a recording. Or it starts a recording, but the timer won't go (and no video actually recorded). Or it will not even want to pop up, blaming no camera rights (that's my intention to record without camera, but I cannot even select no option as the widget doesn't... right, it doesn't pop up!) I have to reinstall it every now and then, sometimes even without any improvement, just ending making a usual mac screen recording and sending the customers a file as a boomer

- Greedy company. They continue to limit the functionality trying to convert users to customers, completely overlooking the fact that there a hundreds of other options! Furthermore, their plugin continues to put strain on my computer and slow down my browser. If you haven't already, switch to Vidyard!

- I allowed access to my audio and camera for both loom and tab im trying to record. Still saying that It needs access for audio. I used this a few years ago and it worked fine. not sure why it isn't working now.

- Loom pops up on your screen, and and ask you to confirm, but will not let you go further. At this time i do not believe i need to create videos. Possible in the future.

- It's awful. I just wanted to try it out, and because it detected I'm a business, and without my consent, it started me on a Business+AI plan that would renew (at a premium) 14 days later. If that business practice weren't concerning enough, it slowed down my entire computer, even in trial mode. So much lagging...no ready for primetime. Don't recommend.

- very good extension , i tried the free version it's so useful , i only think that the video quality can be better that's why i gave it 4 stars , i don't know if it's because i'm only using the free version , but's it was helpful , if you don't know how to register when your screen capture is ended ; you should click on the little square on the left when the recording bar appears , and i advice you guys to reload the page so the dowload button of the video appears , i hope you get it
