I used this to remove negative stories that was posted about me online, I had a friend who wanted to tarnish my image by posting all sorts of rumors about me out of jealousy. he took all the links and photos down and I also got access to his phone without any notification and deleted all contents.
• (2025-06-14) Wenni Wang: Truly a game changer, a massive time and effort saver. I’ve been using Data Miner on and off for large projects since 2022, and it has never let me down. The support team is excellent as well. At one point, I considered replacing it with custom Python scripts using ChatGPT to save on the subscription cost. But honestly, Data Miner has already accounted for all the nuances handling such as Cloudflare, pre-scraping actions, regex filters, and more. I quickly realized it would take far more time to build and maintain my own solution than to simply continue using this well-developed tool. The flexibility of the pricing plans is also a huge plus, you can easily scale up or down based on your scraping needs. All in all, well worth the subscription.

All I did was install the chrome extension, go to the page I needed links off, a few set up clicks and it pulled up exactly what I needed set out in a table and easily downloadable with one click. I have never scraped a page before and the simple instructions made it effortless!

• (2024-11-21) Trevor Stafford: I've been using Data Miner for several years and have paid for subscriptions on and off. Pros: Support is good and with wrangling you can get the syntax right. There don't seem to be many other products on the market that will do what I need to do at this level of detail. Cons: Starting the app up counts as a scrape. That's bull****. The cost for most plans is much too high for the number of scrapes that are supplied, especially when you lose so many scrapes to simply starting the app. It doesn't work in fullscreen. The sync with Google Sheets doesn't work. You're better off buying something commercial that has a one-time fee or building something out with an API.

I've been using the same recipe for several years and I've never had any issues. Well, until I accidentally deleted the recipe! I reached out to customer support and the response was immediate - and my recipe was restored in no time. Highly recommend!

Well I did not find any. Once I found Data Scraper, I signed up to check them out. I thought it will be a breeze. Even though, everything is methodically done in a very easy way, it was very difficult for me to steer it . I emailed for help. Zach from Data Scraper picked up my email and asked me all the necessary questions to assist me . I had already watched U-tube and still couldn't make any head or tail of scraping.:) Zach told me to check out between 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm M-Th. OMG..! It was a complete game changer . Zach took me step by step and taught me how to complete a recipe for scraping and he did not lose his cool, despite my annoying asking over and over simple concept. Hats Off ! my friend. Needs the option to sign up with email/password or another option that doesn't link it to your Google account.

• (2024-07-09) Brandmine: Although it looked a bit complicated at the outset, after watching the helpful tutorial videos I was quickly able to learn how to use this tool to create a targeted recipe for the website I was struggling to scrape. Once my recipe was configured properly this tool worked like a charm. Don't be put off by the need to use the multi-tabbed interface. It is intuitive and easy to use. Highly recommend that you give this a go first - to see if it is the tool you need to solve your scraping challenges.
