Si escriviu la vostra contrasenya de Gmail o Google for Work en un lloc diferent de accounts.google.com, rebreu una alerta, de manera que podreu canviar la contrasenya si així ho voleu.
Alerta de protecció de contrasenya també detecta pàgines d’inici de sessió de Google falses per avisar-vos abans que teclegeu la vostra contrasenya. Per fer-ho, Alerta de protecció de contrasenya comprova l’HTML de cada pàgina que visiteu per detectar si s’ha suplantat una pàgina d’inici de sessió de Google.
