هشدار گذرواژه کمک می کند تا دربرابر حملات رمزگیری محافظت شوید.
اگر گذرواژه Gmail یا Google for Work خود را در محلی غیر از accounts.google.com وارد کنید، هشداری دریافت خواهید کرد تا بتوانید گذرواژه خود را در صورت نیاز تغییر دهید.
هشدار گذرواژه همچنین تلاش می‌کند تا صفحات جعلی ورود به حساب Google را تشخیص دهد و پیش از آن که گذرواژه خود را تایپ کنید به شما هشدار دهد. برای این کار، هشدار گذرواژه HTML هر صفحه‌ای را که بازدید می‌کنید بررسی می‌کند تا ببیند آیا یک صفحه جعلی ورود به حساب Google است یا نه.

هشدار گذرواژه از پنجره‌های ناشناس، Chrome Apps یا افزونه‌های Chrome، محافظت نمی کند. همچنین از گذرواژه‌های سرویس‌های غیر از Google هم محافظت نمی کند. هشدار گذرواژه تنها در داخل مرورگر Chrome هنگامی که Javascript فعال باشد، عمل می‌کند.

- Google Chrome is giving me a safety alert about this extension, can you confirm if Google is still actively managing this? I see it hasn't been updated since 2018. Google Chrome Alert: "On • This extension hasn't published privacy practices, such as how it collects and uses data" Thanks!

- Use a password manager, even a free one. Browser based password managers are NOT secure, regardless of this useless feature.

- This has been integrated into Google Password Manager since June 2023, which itself is part of Google Chrome, thus making this extension outdated and redundant.

- J'aurai préféré mettre une autre note mais ne sert strictement à rien ! Comptes Google piratés sur mon pc et AUCUNE ALERTE m'indiquant de l'utilisation de mes motes de passe. Je désactive donc immédiatement cette extension qui au final ne m'aura pas permis d'être alerté

- Well I added the extension but concerned because in other reviews the general understanding is that it asks you to re-log in when you add the extension but it did no such thing when I added the extension which is my worry....
