• (2023-05-05) Adam Bloom: Mixmax hits a sweet spot of being both developer friendly and excellent for sales/marketing professionals. Using things like automations/rules, templates, and sequences are very helpful and have saved me a lot of time over the years! I definitely recommend trying this out.
• (2023-01-12) Erika Kurt: I used to receive very fast and helpful customer support, and the extension used to work well for my purposes. Now, the sequence feature no longer works for "send mail as" / aliases. It is supposed to work but doesn't in spite of days of attempted troubleshooting and contact with customer support. In addition, they also got rid of the feature in the Small Business Account where you can track opens/clicks in sequences when sending from an alias. I never saw a notice that the feature was changing and had to figure it out when my sequences were having problems, and everything bouncing. The extension has gotten very buggy, and for my last customer support help request, it took an extremely long time for someone to even write me back, and that person did not know how to fix the problem...so in spite of multiple back and forth emails, I still did not get a solution. I suspect that some of the bugs have to do with Google's security changes. However, since this is a Google extension, there needs to be a solution.

• (2021-06-12) Hello, the Free version should be improved, 100 emails per month are really insufficient for those who work with email, I hope at least are brought to 500 emails. Also you can't see the location of recipients and devices.

• (2020-08-04) Michael Kuhl: Looks like it could be quite good ... If it actually worked. Not working for me on brave browser. Lets me get to some settings/dashboard page but that's all. I can't see any calendar page, email page, nothing visible when in gmail. Nothing. Shame as it shows promise.

• (2019-10-07) Jack Downey: BEWARE - The app is disingenuous about deactivation and has destroyed all user trust for me. I liked this app when I used it, but I decided I didn't want to use it anymore. I clicked an option in their app that say "Deactivate MixMax for [email protected]." You would think that would be the end of it, but no.... On a weekly basis I get asked to reinstall it before sending emails. I've deactivated it three or four times now and keep getting asked to reinstall it.

The tracking and template tools were especially useful. We were able to try different versions of our emails and optimize the templates to increase our engagement level with our customers.

• (2019-05-30) Sean McCartney: Great extension with some hard-to-find features like scheduled emails and embedded web link previews (things gmail ought to have). Most reviews on here are a year old, so here's a current one (well, for now). I've used the MixMax free plan for 2 years, primarily for a side business; my email volume isn't very high so the free tier works great. My favorite feature, email scheduling is easy to use and reliable (I've never had one fail). If you're unsure why you'd need it, here are a few reasons: (1) email written the day before but sent automatically first thing in the morning helps ensure it will be at the top of the recipient's inbox, (2) clients don't see an odd-hours timestamp on the email, or (3) schedule an email as a reminder for a meeting or appointment or to provide agenda beforehand. There is a mixmax 'signature' added to the email, but you can remove it manually--just click on the link it adds in your email, and then click the "I'm not tired of clicking" pop-up that opens...simple, especially for low-volume use. Web page preview/snapshots embedded in the email are also a nice feature; you do get a mixmax tag on that as well, but it's not horribly intrusive and I don't mind the minor advertising for something I use for free. There are many other features, not all of which I have a need for, but I've tested them and they work great. My only complaint is the interface could be more user-friendly and logically designed; granted there is always a learning curve and you have to get used to their layout and workflow, but I think this could be refined for easier use. Along with that, it'd be nice if they embedded a tutorial for new users to walk them through features and use cases. Honestly though, those are minor gripes for an extension that adds fantastic utility, for FREE! I've yet to see another service offer the same quality service as MixMax.

• (2018-10-18) From the moment we integrated Mixmax over Gmail, copper, and slack, it became a tool that is essential to our everyday operations. Having multiple schedules to manage, it can be hard finding available opportunities for phone calls and/or meetings . Mixmax has made this a breeze. We have not encountered any problems I have seen left on any of the other reviews. If it could integrate with Apple mail... I'd give Mixmax SIX stars!

Used to be one click on the icon would forward the page, 2 clicks would open a blank email" I am having the same problem. I contacted support quite a while ago and they said they would let me know when the issue is resolved. This greatly diminishes the usefulness of MixMax for me.

AND I paid for this extension, so I am out some $$, but I really just wanted it to work (like it did for so long).

It showed to set up for my business gmail account on Google Chrome @ iOS system, and this step never be done, even I leave my mac alone more than 2 hours. Is there any solution?
