- (2025-06-29) Bill Hoath: I signed up with Dashlane on the 19th April 2013 and it has just done the job ever since. Run around 500 accounts through it covering everything from websites to all the passwords on network devices like modems, routers, NAS drives, servers, smart home controllers etc. It serves as repositry for all the bits of information I may need from time to time, serial numbers of things that might get stolen, car VIN numbers / registration references and everthing I used to keep in a notebook and then lose. Key information is also shared with family members. There are many competing products now that offer to do a similar job but I've never been motivated to investigate them. I don't know what I would do without it.

My Dashlane made it through it, and saved me from losing all my important accounts. I'll be forever keeping Dashlane! It is easy to manage and very dependable for me! Recently,(June, 2025), a bad guy attempted a serious Hack of our banking stuff and with the aid of our Dashlane system we had no problems changing passwords and enhanced our protection quickly. We love the protection.

- (2025-06-26) Chris Algar: Vital for maintaining a growing set of strong an unique passwords on many sites, app and devices. Also helpful for sharing passwords with family members for subscription services. I also use shared access with my wife, so she gets full access to all my accounts (think utilities and finance) if anything were to happen to me. Identity and digital assets are often overlooked incase of incapacity, and dashlane is a great tool to set and forget this in a simple way.

When you consider the fact that there are so many data breaches and that everyone, much like my former self, only keep a few "key" passwords and use them repeatedly, having a password manager makes sense if only for the diversification aspect. Top that off with automatically generated passwords up to 40 characters and you suddenly get a warm and fuzzy blanket feeling when it comes to password security. And using Dashlane is incredibly simple. Love it.

- (2025-06-25) Jess M: I have been using Dashlane for over 9 years and love it. But this extension is not working anymore since the recent update (6.2525.0). I consistently encounter a "Something went wrong" error during the security check phase. The error message states: "An unexpected error occurred during the security check. Please close this tab and try again. Contact support if this error persists." After this error, Dashlane prompts me to enter a verification code, but the verification emails are never sent to my email address, making it impossible to complete the login process. This seems to be an issue when installing Dashlane on a new browser or for the first time (which I am trying to do, on a new laptop). Please fix this so I can use it on my browser again.
