- One of the best password managers out there. Great for people who want random passwords, and provides notice when a password has been compromised. A password manager is especially helpful if you have memory issues. Be sure a trusted person know your master password in case you develop such issues. While I recommend Dashlane, note that ANY password manager with a solid reputation is better than none.

- The program is great. I got it when my password was hacked and my facebook account was accomodated by someone I don't know. After I got Dashlane, I don't even worry about it. It never happens. Passwords are so different no one could guess.

- No idea how people live their lives without it! I have been a user/customer of Dashlane for over ten years. I've never once had a single bad thing to say or a negative experience. My accounts are kept safe and up to date, it has saved my bacon multiple times where I would never for the life of me ever been able to remember a password for some site I visited only a few times. The execution across platforms is flawless. Could not recommend it more highly.

- I think Dashlane is great. I have SO many passwords it's one great way to handle them. The only thing I think they could improve on, is the ability to change your email address. I had an old domain I used when I first subscribed. I have a new better domain (and therefore email address) now, but they won't/"cant" change the email address on file due to some relation between the account email and the encryption or something? If I was them I'd figure out some way to handle that - because I have to keep paying to renew an old domain I don't use, just so I can continue to have access to Dashlane. Other than that, it's very good.

You will not regret it. The independence from the Google ecosystem is utterly worth it. Dashlane is not trying to sell your data to anyone or sell anything beyond security to you. I recommend it to EVERYONE. That is saying something because this is the only recommendation I have ever written for a software application. Ever.

- I've been using Dashlane for nearly 15 years. I've never had an issue with it, never been hacked and I've successfully recommended it to many of my friends and coworkers with zero complaints other than it takes some time to set up if you have a lot of logins. Just like anything of quality, it takes some ongoing maintenance to keep it working good, so if you are lazy and unable to focus on it for a while you might want to use something else.

- I've been using Dashlane for over six years and it has never failed to work well. I like the improvements they've made as the app matures and the integration with Chrome, and across all my devices works well. I also appreciate the inclusion of the excellent Hotspot Shield VPN as part of the subscription.
