- (2025-05-27) Hassaan: Impressively effective at saving time without sacrificing comprehension or causing headache.
- (2025-05-08) S. M. Amin Taheri G.: Awesome tool Troy! I suggest everyone to use it. I am an AI developer in Candad and I use it everyday! I have a couple of suggestions to improve it. How can I share and help you with them? I want to contribute to the cause and I like you, I had many not optimal speed readers before. I hope we can chat about some features like client side WebAssembly TTS and text summarization.
- (2025-04-27) Lars Kuerten: Its a scam, there is no free voice, this guy is a criminal
- (2025-03-19) Susan O'Neill: I have used a reader like SwiftRead for many years and was part of a beta test team during the infancy of such a software to see if it could aid readers with learning disabilities (i.e., dyslexia and the like). That system is still available in some form, but I switched to SwiftRead eventually due to the fact that it was more user friendly with more features, available in more places (Adobe, etc.), and provides me with feedback. While it's a great tool for speed reading for many, I use it daily for simply comprehension of the vast number of documents and web pages that I read. Thanks for a great product!
- (2025-03-10) Alisdair Gurling: I’ve been using Swift Read for a few years now, and I just drop you a line to say how much I appreciate your work Troy! I am PhD researcher in assistive technology for neurodivergent learning, particularly, ADHD and Dyslexia. Swift Read is one of the most effective tools out there. It’s something I find myself recommending in my work with school and students. If you haver have an issue or an idea for SwiftRead do drop him a line, he was just wonderfull to interact with!
- (2025-02-24) Dan Quimby: What happened to your support, I've sent two requests and waited three weeks for help. It's good product, but I withdraw my support for paying for pro if there is no response from customer service. Thanks for the follow up Troy. This was a special case and you fixed it quickly once my case was able to get to your attention.
- (2025-02-13) Yoenaz Heryunan Putra: Thank you so much for providing this kind of Reading Test. This is so helpful to advance my students' reading skill.
- (2025-01-06) Alec Hudson: Too expensive for pro but otherwise pretty fantastic.
- (2024-12-06) R Ochs-Mejia (rochs2.brockport): I use SwiftRead primarily for reading textbooks, research papers, and technical documents associated with my job and collegiate assignments, almost exclusively using the “read aloud” function because audio content is easier for me to process than visual content alone. I have ADHD along with a chronic illness that affects my visual acuity and cognition at times, and reading has unfortunately been a challenge that kept me from pursuing my long-term goals. However, I’ve been using SwiftRead since returning to college last Fall after a ten-year hiatus, and I'm thrilled to report that I’ve made the President’s List for straight A’s every semester and will finally graduate this December! I cannot thank you enough for making this wonderful product, and I hope you and your team recognize how valuable it has been in helping some of us to close the accessibility gaps that were previously holding us back.
- (2024-12-04) ناشناس رایی: its not free
- (2024-11-12) Nick Tschetter: The tool is great. Unfortunetly, I have purchased a "Pro" license and to unlock it requires a "license key". The License Key I have on file does not work, and SwiftRead has yet to reply to numerous emails asking for a new one. I now have a $60 Pro license that does not work. This is kind of silly.
- (2024-09-24) Quang Minh (đka): Very fast. But if it had a voice, it would probably be terrible.
- (2024-09-15) airen Dot: freaking awesome for reading
- (2024-08-16) Gowdham Krishna: Amazing , Im a medical student and i used to waste so much time reading articles and explanations. This significantly reduces time and improves our attention. Don't think twice , go for it, might take a while to adjust and get the hang of it; but worth it for sure.
- (2024-07-24) West Coast Enterprise: Awesome program, best in the industry. Customer service the best, Troy in on the ball, he addressed all my questions, and was very helpful. Thanx Troy I recommend his program 100% René
- (2024-07-15) Liam Neate: Really great tool for helping me learn to speed read, highly recommend
- (2024-07-12) Caleb Loera: Awesome great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
- (2024-06-22) Kevin R: This is an awesome tool to help me read faster and with more focus. I have been looking for ways to measure my reading speed, and I love how Swiftread has hundreds of reading comprehension test to keep on measuring my progress. I am also looking forward to reading the book summaries. Thank you!
- (2024-05-26) Luís Ferreira: Great extension! Works like a charm
- (2024-04-24) CJ: Literally 95% of the options are locked away. That includes basic settings like being able to use certain shortcuts to increase/decrease the WPM, pausing, and micro-pausing that allow you to be able to quickly pause when a long word appears or new paragraph starts. If you don't believe me, go to the settings and see how options, very basic options, have a "Pro" box that you have to pay $15 monthly to use and prepare to be amazed.
- (2024-04-19) William Velasquez: Amazing app. I really love it and will upgrade as soon as I can.
- (2024-04-17) Yndrel Bösch: I actually love SwiftRead, but I don't use it for speed reading, and wish it had an option to only advance on key press or something similar. You see, I am visually impaired, and the line by line reading experience this provides has helped me a lot. Unfortunately, because I am visually impaired I have a hard time specifying a WPM because some words are easier to see than others, no matter how I change the font style or size. So some words take longer for me to parse and this throws off the WPM and I often have to backtrack and pause the automatic movement. Thus, I just really wish there was a way to turn off the automatic function...
- (2024-04-01) Fábio Costa: Everything is blocked, unless we became pro.
- (2024-03-23) Arda Madanoglu: Love the extension but would love if the chat read feature on chatgpt was also integrated into other ai services like claude and gemini.
- (2024-03-16) Amit: Great 👍 Works perfectly fine.
- (2024-03-06) Marie Gardiner: I can't figure out how to make it work
- (2024-02-27) Richard Church: SwiftRead is a great tool that helps me to read faster. I get text versions of great literature from Project Gutenberg and then paste them into SwiftRead. I can also read books from Kindle Cloud. One of the many features I like is that I can increase the font size of the text I'm reading, as well as the speed it appears on the screen. This is a game-changer for those of us who were always in Group 3 in reading:) I love this reading tool...I have a degree in English, and wish this tool had been available to me then...I highly recommend SwiftRead to anyone who loves to read, who needs to read, and who wants to read faster...
- (2024-02-21) Phil Boyer: Troy - Well done!!! I love this. What a cool idea and great job with this Chrome plug in; you built something useful and beautiful. Goldilocks simplicity combined with configurability options like WPM, font size, words-at-a-time, audio toggling. You certainly deserve your subscription fees, though I understand folks on tight budgets may find it expensive. Professionals and students who read a lot should find this tool helpful. Especially those who struggle with attention deficit, dyslexia, retention issues, or environmental distractions. For those who do not have these struggles, this tool is worth a try simply to discover whether they increase their WPM so they can read more content in less time. Oh, I should also mention, folks may find it helpful on news or informational articles that are littered with ads. This tool gets right to the important text and cleans up the reading experience.
- (2024-02-17) Sara Kate MacFarland: Pro Version at $15.99 per month is required to use this extension on Kindle Read. Be aware of this before you hit that button.
- (2024-02-11) SAMBHAJI: awesome 👌

- (2024-01-24) 10CA1-30- Diệp Thành Trí: It helps me read wayyyy more efficiently!!
- (2024-01-15) Chris Johnson: I wish there was an option for it to break up highly-hyphenated-words that might-not-even-fit-on-screen.
- (2023-11-14) rebecca wu: AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found myself uncontrollably grinning when I read at 1000 wpm for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can comfortably read at 600-700 wpm, while absorbing all the information. One of my favourite, if not my favourite extension!

- (2023-11-10) farouq stray: The extension looks great, but I couldn't get the full experience without paying, as you can't try text to speech feature without upgrading to pro. So if EN is not your best thing, this extension can't help you read faster, and tell the title from the text at the same time.
- (2023-11-03) Timothy Fox: I really love this extension. It's very helpful as a person with a learning disability The only thing is the option the use SwiftRead while still in your chrome tab doesn't work. The shortcut(For me it's, ⌥V) Just opens up the app and doesn't allow me to read it in my chrome tab. I also looked very hard for any option to use it in the extension settings, and also the settings in the swiftread app but did not find anything. If this was fixed this would be my favorite extension of all time.

- (2023-08-23) John “The FAQyMe Experience” Brown: Simply the best speed reading app. It changed the game when I was studying at uni. I can't imagine how helpful it would be if you started using it earlier in school. It would have been incredibly helpful in highschool for things like book reviews. I don't recommend any other way to read if you need to or enjoy reading quickly and efficiently. I find I still have fairly high retention even at 650wpm+. My only complaint is there is no firefox extension. Ten out of five stars. The developer is very friendly too, would recommend buying pro.
