• (2021-10-26) Ian MacRae: This is a great extension until they update, then it wipes out all your saved tab groups. I had at least 30 and now they are gone which is very frustrating. I only wish they had a search of saved tab groups to make it ease to find them if you have a lot. I will keep using this extension but only for temporary groups, it's to dangerous to loose all saved groups to trust it for more.

И таск менеджер и тайм трекер и гитхаб и либы используемые открыты и дизайны/макеты и баг трекер и playMarket + iStore. В целом довольно много всего под 1 конкретный проект. И все было превосходно, пока плагин не стал: 1) Менять имена сессий (сессия где были вкладки под проект - теперь открывается сессия про звукозапись) 2) Делать сессии пустыми (0 вкладок) Так что приходится искать альтернативу, а жаль. Полгода пользовался - проблем не знал.

I save lots of Chrome windows with numerous tabs and can then shut any window to save computing power and ram and easily open them all up when I need them. It also helps as a backup when Chrome or the computer shuts down unexpectedly and Chrome doesn't automatically restore all the open windows. Thank you very much!

I have had issues, however, such as whenever the extension is updated, it deletes ALL of my saved windows, and I have no way of getting the grouped tabs back. It sort of defeats its purpose if you need to save something just before an update. Otherwise, it's been mostly good, with only a few lost windows this past year (not update-related).

It organizes all tabs same positions as they were closed, really helpful, it's simple and easy, low memory consumption. Hope the author could update it, since it has been long time with no updates, though still working as it suppose to. I looked for a way to make a donation, but couldn't find any. Great job. Tks

I tried out half a dozen other tab/session manager addons and for some reason none of them are able to just automatically save my windows as they were when I close them. "Simple Window Saver" seems to be doing just that, and it's working fine so far. The only other plugin I found that was able to do so was "Tabs Outliner" - but that's just overkill for what I want. Do you have a way to donate to the project? I can spare a few bucks for something that simplifies my tab-infested life.

  Hello! I love this extension, but I just updated Chrome (Version 90.0.4430.85 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and for some reason, all of my saved tab groups disappeared. Is there a way to recover them? Alternatively, are there any plans to add a function where the saved tab links can be exported to a text file in the event that they are randomly deleted again?

Actually theres only one thing I am really missing in terms of usabillity: Since my window sessions are named by themes as "Work 1", "Work 2", "Private" - It would really help, if the title of the window in the status bar, would show that name <3 guess I might not be the first one coming to that point :)

  I've lost an important tab set twice now. I think it could have something to do with with two sets that containing the same word? They seem to merge in one occasionally. Instead of having set 1 and set 2, I open the browser and there is set 2 and set 2. So I close and reopen the browser and there is set 1 and set 2 again, but the content from set 1 is lost and replaced with a copy from set 2. It made me feel very frustrated today when I got to work and had no tabs that I needed again, but I figured I should contact you rather than leave a review.

  As a professional using my browser all day every day, this app is essential. The ability to migrate the saved windows from one device to another would be really useful. If it also acted as an exportable/importable backup/restore features, even better.
