- I ran this extension for a long time, mostly because I like to use an proper em dash instead of the usual double hyphen, but it's also useful for other kinds of text macros. But it hasn't been updated in 8 years, and now I'm beginning to see issues with some web sites: the signon page on one site, weird focus issues on another. So I've disabled it, and there seems to be no other extension that does this. Oh well.

- This is the extension I have needed for years! How did I not know this was out there?! I work for an organization with a long name, and I now have it set up with an alias, so when I start to type out the name, the whole long name pops up. I also use em dashes a LOT, and this makes it so easy to set up an alias, easier than you can in various apps. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

- Doesn't work at all for me. Very disappointing EDIT: A day after installing it, it suddenly started working out of the blue! Not sure what changed, but I'm glad it works as intended.

- AMAZING! I downloaded this after tumblr discontinued native support for -- and ---. This is the single ONLY solution I found for this problem (after a week of searching and trying multiple others). So far it works as expected and I hope that continues.

- When it works it's great. But after the initial install, I found that it only works sporadically. Sometimes turning it on and off will help, and other times it's useless. Love the concept, so if the bugs / QC can be improved this would be an amazing extension.

- Alas, won't work with my Chromebook. Tried several times turned it on and off, added/removed/re-added "packs". Nope. Just the luck of the draw, I guess. It might be great in other situations, though.
