With RSS Alert you'll never miss a new post on your favorite blog again. Simply click the RSS Alert button add the RSS, Atom, or Media RSS feed for the site you'd like to monitor and you'll get a notification whenever there's a new post. Multiple feeds can be monitored at once!
The permissions required are to use Google's Feed API.

Chrome doesn't seem to have settings for this extension yet it seems some people's reviews mention settings. Am I missing something?
