Update: Fix new youtube version. 06/05/2019
The simplest extension found here. Shut off the autoplay option on youtube, that loads a suggested video when the current video ends. This extension doesn't interfere in the functioning of playlists.
note: after cleaning the browser history, the default value from youtube will come back, but with this extension you don't need to change again. Works very well!

Extensão mais simples encontrada aqui. Desliga a opção autoplay do youtube, que carrega um vídeo sugerido quando a reprodução atual termina. Esta extensão não interfere no funcionamento de listas de reprodução.
nota: depois de limpar o histórico do browser, o padrão do youtube volta, mas com essa extensão não será necessário mudar novamente. Funciona muito bem!

- (2017-02-19) Nathan: This clicks a button on playlists so it doesn't autoplay, it does not actually disable autoplay on youtube. Videos will still autoplay when you load up a video. Maybe call this "disable playlist autoplay" or just remove this and tell users to go to YouTube settings, and use the menu to disable playlist autoplay.
- (2017-01-05) Glenn Adam Reisch: Sadly, this did not disable autoplay. It didn't disable autoplay on the first video. It didn't disable autoplay on the second through fifth videos either. I installed, removed, reinstalled, cleared cache; this still did not disable autoplay. Kind of a shame.

- (2016-06-06) arthur provoost: I like this app allot. Usually, before going to bed, i like to watch some youtube video's that are 30 min+ long. It helps to get me so tired that my eyes just close after a while. What used to happen was that i'd wake up 3 hours later because there were still video's playing. Then i would be unable to sleep again for a while and my laptop battery would be drained. This app makes sure that after the one video, youtube does not automatically start playing tons of other stuff. I always watch with while logged into youtube so i can't speak for people that watch without an account. if you dislike the autoplay or just find it a drag t click that thing every time, then this is the app for you. do note that if you click on a playlist, it will still continue to play everything in that list over and over because that's not what this app is for.
