• (2025-06-16) A Rulli: Been using this for awhile. Works great and does its job, but certain websites require for you to turn it off 'cause then the videos won't play at all no matter how many times you press play on them (eg. On Deviantart and BlueSky, videos don't play at all when this extension's on when you press play on them, so you have to turn the extension off, and then refresh the page the videos are on to play them).

(If you're neurodivergent like me, you're even more affected by these things.) I can't _believe_ the dev abandoned this wonderful extension, and now the Web Store is making us remove it... *SIGH*

• (2024-06-26) Google User: It appears to be abandoned. Surprisingly it does [still] work, sometimes. This extension can sometimes stop videos from auto-playing on Chrome, but it's flaky. The extension has been abandoned long ago. There are few other extensions that supposedly can prevent auto-play on Chrome, but they don't and they too have been abandoned. This extension also installs a cookie called stat.totallzero.com that persists. It's unclear what this cookie does or where it connects to. There is no way to block it from communicating with its server unless you remove the extension. This may pose a privacy risk since the extension is no longer supported.
• (2024-06-01) Gustavo I: It worked great with my Browser at first, but later it had conflicts with my Adblocker. I had gone to options and ticked off the disable preloading. With that it started doing its function again without conflict with the adblock. But it really need to rework the code or add the option to chose which function can go with which site.

• (2024-02-17) Stealthbat: Works great for most sites. However, there are some select sites that it breaks outright just for being enabled regardless of settings. One of which is "www.startrek-resurgence.com". Unfortunately, regardless of how much I absolutely love this extension. I need near 100% site compatibility, with options for sites that aren't compatible. Until such a filter is added, I can no longer use this extension. I will keep it installed and disabled for the time being and will wait for things to be fixed in newer updates.
• (2024-01-12) Aasif Haque: Works quite well with some important options inlcuding site preferences. But, configuring them according to user's need are tricky for new users. There is no faq or tooltip to explain why disabling pre-loading requires auto-playing to be disabled first and what each disable does for a site in preference.
• (2023-11-29) Wild Bill: Even when you disable this extension for a site, sometimes it still prevents you from playing a video correctly manually. There seem to be other extensions that perform the same function, but when you disable them for a site, its actually disabled for the site and doesn't continue to block functionality.

Now it's to the point I cant even stream videos on certain sites, no matter how hard I try--even if I turn the extension off.

This extension gives one the ability to Disable it on domains like YouTube. When I figured that part out, i came back immediately to fix my review. It works perfectly now. Perfectly.
