Browse the web without annoying and intrusive ads.
Adblock Plus for Google Chrome blocks video ads, banners, pop-ups and other forms of intrusive and annoying advertising, as well as blocking tracking and malware.
An easy-to-use, customizable ad-blocking browser extension, Adblock Plus gives you control over your Google Chrome browsing experience. Block annoying and intrusive ads for a cleaner, better web experience. Blocking ads also reduces the risk of infection from malvertising campaigns. Users also have the option to add personal filters and whitelist websites.
Used by millions worldwide, Adblock Plus is a community-driven open source project. Hundreds of volunteers contribute daily to ensure that all intrusive ads are blocked.
Adblock Plus supports the Acceptable Ads initiative. By default, Acceptable Ads are shown, which helps support websites that rely on advertising revenue, but choose to only display nonintrusive ads. This can be disabled at any time for users who wish to block all ads. Learn more at https://adblockplus.org/acceptable-ads
Please Note: When installing Adblock Plus for Chrome, you will receive a warning that Adblock Plus for Chrome will receive access to your browsing history and data. This is a standard message - we NEVER collect any user information.

- Since chrome has made ublock extinct, im back to this. My only two gripes using this again, is number 1, you need to add an import/export filters feature, thank God copying and pasting my ublock filters into this worked because man if I would have had to do it all over again or one at a time etc, I dont know if id even still be here using this.......... and number 2, this seems to have an issue with blocking YT ads consistently, sometimes you get nothing, straight to the video. Other times, it'll load up the ad for a brief moment and then skip it, which, it should just act like there was never an ad to begin with, and other times, you'll get these still ad images with a skip button that do go away after a few seconds but still, feels like those just run normally and the ad blocking is doing nothing. I try to block the elements of them, but it just makes the video player black with no options to do anything, until the wait for the ads is over anyways, so its not doing anything but just basically blacking them out but not getting rid of them. I would subscribe to this but theres just too many lacking elements to it and the "perks" dont really seem to add anything special that already doesnt exist, besides making an account to I guess be able to save your filters? Also, the UI for the filter list is sooooo outdated, you need to step that up, add more search filters, search by dates, when searching for a website, only show results with that phrase in them, instead of the just randomness you have now with the whole just check marking them but in no particular order so you have to scroll through your entire list just to find the checks because the grouping is all over the place, if the URL isnt exactly the same IE, www or just the website, itll put them in two seperate areas in your lists. Also itd be nice if you could just actually use the find feature and search for them that way, but it only works for the results already in the small box so its rendered useless. All im asking for is a couple literally just minor updates and this could be great, but nothing on this has changed since like I first used it like a decade ago.......

- India forms a peninsula, bordered by the Bay of Bengal to the southeast, the Arabian Sea to the southwest, and the Indian Ocean to the south. Its diverse terrain includes the Himalayan mountain range in the north, the fertile Ganges Plain, the Thar Desert in the west, and tropical jungles in the northeast. The climate varies from tropical in the south to temperate and alpine in the north, and is heavily influenced by the seasonal monsoon winds.

- Doesn't Work

- Adblock Plus has gone from five star to no star lately, because the notification that pops up asking me to block cookies is now extremely obnoxious though because the x button to close the pop up doesn't work, and neither does the "block cookies now" button. So Adblock has become as obnoxious as the ads that it blocks.

- Has worked great for years. The notification that pops up asking me to block cookies is now extremely obnoxious though because the x button to close the pop up doesn't work, and neither does the "block cookies now" button.

- This is okay if you want an ad-blocker to block certain elements, but you keep shoving an ad in my face when i log in! It interferes with Google's search engine. It wont allow you to open answers, or log into your accounts. If you want a good adblocker, try this for a while, then delete it if it says "We've blocked ________ Ads for you! Focus on what really matters and buy Adblock Plus Premium" as it will redirect you there when you open up your browser.

- still see ads

- Hey, guess what, devs? If you pop up an advertisement every time I open Chrome, YOU ARE NOT BLOCKING ADS, YOU ARE THE SOURCE OF THEM! Sometimes this obnoxious extension opens a tab and switches to it while I'm in the middle of writing an email. Who gave you permission to open a tab on my browser? Who gave you permission to give it focus? Who gave you permission to be more obnoxious and intrusive than the ads you are supposed to block? No, I'm not paying your exorbitant price for Adblock. YOU LOST THE THREAD. Uninstalled.

- Wouldn't load into my Chrome. Message: "The extension failed to load properly. It might not be able to intercept network requests." Why?

- I used to deal with popups from my sites and shows, and things, afraid I'd get malware virus and just overall tired of the ads taking my browser over and popping up, I went and searched for a hopefully free ad-blocker, and found this one, and I can safely say: it is great, it works perfectly, doesn't take up space and I haven't had a single popup!!

- I got this because Grammarly was hounding me for money with pop-ups that were both annoying and intrusive. It's helping to stop those, but now Adblocker itself is doing the same thing. I only installed it yesterday so if it becomes a regular problem, I'll uninstall it. Pushiness doesn't get you anywhere!

- keeps skipping my ytb shorts videos for no reason

- Doesn't work consistently. Not all ads are blocked.

- I find it ironic that an extension that is supposed to block ads and pop-ups constantly opens up a new browser tab and interrupts my browsing to ask for money and tell me how great they are. The application works fine but you are guilty of doing the exact thing we are using you for. If you don't want to provide a free service, then stop being part of the problem.

- Free and works well; gets blocked by websites sometimes here and there, but for a free extension on a student account, it is good enough.
- Anonymous
- very good at blocking ads but sometimes pops up randomly in middle of a website which is negotiable

- Anyone else see the irony in Adblock Plus putting pop up ads for, err, Adblock Plus up on my web browser? Also, I'm tired of the constant crowing about how many ads you've blocked for ME. You haven't blocked any ads for ME if I haven't even logged onto my computer for a week.
