Open the extension options to set up to 16 text snippets and toggle any of three handy ways to paste:

- Click the 'Paste It' toolbar button.
- Use a keyboard shortcut (Alt+V by default, fully configurable)
- Right-click to paste from the context menu.

Paste It is safe, secure and free to use with no ads or tracking.

Seven Hills Pet Wellness Center 2025-10-13: Really like this! Great work! Couple quick suggestions: 1. Allow a 'Name' for each text snippet. Then show the Name in the right-click menu instead of the text itself, but still paste the actual text of course. This would help differentiate between multiple similar texts. For us for example: Email-New Client vs Text-New Client 2. Allow Rich Text if possible for use in things like documents and emails. 3. Just a weirdness that isn't a big deal: When I paste into our texting app, I cannot click Send immediately. It doesn't recognize that any text is in the field. I have to press Space at the end of the pasted text in order to click the Send button. Not a huge issue...but thought I'd mention it.
Landon Miller 2025-09-03: Almost perfect! It works great for adding my signature in my school's messaging system that doesn't include an automatic signature. The only problem I'm seeing is that I'm trying to paste two lines and in a lot of instances it's pasting everything into a single line, ignoring my line break.

Dawn Reeve 2023-05-03: I do like it, however would be better if maybe the Notification doesn't require you to click on the OK button. I know it sounds lazy, but once you have already tried to paste, to then move your mouse up and click on OK, to then go back to the field and paste (CTRL V) might not be the best UI decision. If there was a way to make the notification come up, and then automatically disappear, and for you to just CTRL-V (or paste) right away after the failed Paste It attempt it might make the interface and useability work. I will also say - out of 10 websites, only 1 worked without the saving to Clipboard issue. So this isn't really as helpful as I was hoping... BUT... this appears to be a Chrome behaviour more than the extension - because Firefox doesn't have the limitation when using similar things. Thank you for creating this though, it is still a good tool having the text getting pasted to clipboard when you need is still better than having to type it all out again :D
