Notifies user of new posts in RSS feeds

With RSS Alert you'll never miss a new post on your favorite blog again. Simply click the RSS Alert button add the RSS, Atom, or Media RSS feed for the site you'd like to monitor and you'll get a notification whenever there's a new post. Multiple feeds can be monitored at once!
The permissions required are to use Google's Feed API.

- I love it. I want an extension that simply alerts me on selected RSS feeds that I need to keep up on without extra bells and whistles and this extension does exactly that.

- I only wish I could control the length of time the popups stay up. I would like mine to be permanent until I close them or at least stay for a while. Chrome doesn't seem to have settings for this extension yet it seems some people's reviews mention settings. Am I missing something?

- Why don't the notifications disappear after some seconds. They just stay there until I close them. There should be a configurable timeout option.
