Bitwarden - Administrador de contraseñas
Description from store

generally great i am occasionally getting chromium issues with it not auto filling though. for those getting login issues click the "Developer mode" switch on the extension management page and press the update button. its in my experience chrome failing to check for updates.

Works great - for the most part. I use Brave browser, and every now and then there's a compatibility issue (eg does not auto fill, or does not auto save a generated password) But all in all, a good extension.

Can't pick a star All I have is a screen with your name on it an a tab allowing me to remove it from Chrome. So far I am not impressed. I was told you folks understood KISS. Prove it.

Was great, but past few months has gone downhill. Unreliable if the extension will actually let me even log in or just hang with a black box. Kinda defeats the whole purpose. Even reboot, disable all other extensions does not resolve the issue. Sad, because otherwise I like Bitwarden and don't look forward to moving everything on 2 laptops and phone to another password manager.

I like it but the biometric option does not work in brave browser. Please fix it

Best password manager I have ever used and the extension works great and is easy to use. I am running Windows 11 with the Chrome browser.

Great extension but just found one bug items with no folder displays 0 results when there are quite a few without a folder

Windows Hello not working in extension. Gosh. I already setup Biometrics in the desktop app and it doesn't seem to work. After 1million years, still an issue.

Similar issue as the Ubuntu user, when I log in on Arc browser (macOS) it creates a new browser window and then doesn't close it. It remains open in a phantom state, sitting on top of all the content, but with no UI. The only way to remove it is to close the app. So now I find that not only is my Bitwarden login not persisting, but I'm having to quit my browser app several times per day. This is highly frustrating and I will migrate to another service if the issue persists.

Hi. BitWarden service is great, thank you! However, in Ubuntu 24.04 with Brave Browser (it's updated), in 7 or 8 times out of 10, whenever I try to log into BitWarden browser extension, it closes the whole browser. I develop software, with tons of tabs open at the same time and spread among 3 or 4 monitors with each browser window/tabs where I need them. My workflow gets seriously affected every time this happens, and it only happens with BitWarden extension. I almost close both eyes every time I try to log into it. Never had an issue like this before, let alone with Linux. Can you point me at how to fix this? I'm willing to change my rating as soon as I get an answer, and FYI even if I don't get one, I will five-star you anyways, but I'm trying to grab your attention with only one star. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Changed my password and I am now locked out. Very frustrating!

By FAR the best pw manager out there and they've NEVER been hacked!!!

Overall, this seems to be the best PW manager on Brave. Tried Proton but it has some issues auto-filling, which BW is pretty consistently good. I recommend this over Proton and Lastpass. Its by no means perfect and there are some weird issues with some sites but its more polished than others IMHO.

I've been using this for several years. Works great.

For websites that you don't save a login, you have a popup that blocks the password field and you can't login at all.

what is the point of offering generated password when you aren't going to offer to save it
David Lawrence
I find Bitwarden to be a marvelous tool for password and passkey management. It is not perfect, but it is superior to Lastpass and I really like that it is based on a strong opensource community.

Dark Mode Didn't Convince Me – Migration Impossible Due to UI Scalability/Usability. I attempted to switch from LastPass to Bitwarden solely for the Dark Mode feature. Unfortunately, the data import process is unstable; a single error interrupts the entire migration. Important LastPass site exceptions (like "do not offer to save" and autocomplete exceptions) are not migrated. I found a lack of security features and settings (under accounts) and no password version history. Most critically: the record editing windows are small, non-responsive, and inflexible across all versions (web, extension, and desktop). If you only need Bitwarden for a basic password, it's fine. But if you have large entries in the Notes field, it's torture to review them. In contrast, LastPass offers a "Maximize" option which is truly excellent. Verdict: Dark mode is not worth compromising fundamental usability and migration stability.

BEST free one

Definitely on a downslope quality wise. There was the bug with the handling of Passkeys and now a mess about updating passwords of all similar entered other the one being used :/ Disappointed.

The situation has deteriorated to the point where the program perceives that I am resetting my password repeatedly. The program is no longer functioning effectively. I believe it is appropriate to consider transitioning to an alternative solution.

The quality is quickly going downhill. The latest in a string of issues is the "shield" logo covering text elements that are not username or password fields, causing users to be unable to see what they are typing. Google reviews doesn't allow me to attach screenshots, but suffice it to say it is beyond annoying.

This is better than Lastpass Password manager.

Bitwarden works well for me as I use both Android and macOS. Just wish it didn't ask to update passwords that have not been changed. This problem is on extensions for Safari and Brave.

Often gets in way of autofill selection, for some site, the selector is not working/showing

Always gets in the way. Really terrible UI.

Lately has heen asking if i want to update password after login in, even though i used bitwarden to fill in the password

Best PW manager! Since a couple days its asking to update PW on every login... even though PW didn't change...
Anonymous
For several days Bitwarden all the time asking about update passwords. I didn't changed any password. So irritating.

Using for 3 years. Its the best one!

Extension is easy to use and works consistently!

Frustrated, this used to be amazing - recent versions have slowed down my browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Brave) and more importantly WordPress page builders like Beaver Builder which it causes to almost freeze it's so slow, all Bitwarden's fault. I can see on the group forums others frustrated and Bitwarden seem slow at finding a fix.

Every time I use the autofill the extension asks if I want to "update existing login". Very annoying - this started happening recently (noticed it on Windows and chrome browser!

Works fairly well but it keeps forgetting my vault timeout and that I want to use a pin-code. Very frustrating

Integration between desktop app and extension is not supported under linux, and the grace period of the extension is not working.. so endless filling in the master password during a day's work almost useless
Anonymous
Used to be great, but since the implementation of HTTPS only, it's become useless. Was using it only on my local server and within my local network. Not anymore. Absolute junk decision to go with https only.
Anonymous
Umm. No. I have uninstalled it. It consumes sooooo much RAM, but that's only half of it. It is buggy as others have reported. It slows down other extensions and the entire browsing experience. I already have a fast PC. This isn't unacceptable.

Ughhhh, just in the last Month I have been seeing & noticing that Bitwarden Password Manager will no longer autofill my Username & Password Credentials for Yahoo Mail or AOL Email. I can click on the Bitwarden Password Manager Logo over & over again with no success!! Even when I click inside the Bitdefender Vault & tell it to fill my Credentials for Yahoo or AOL, I get an Error stating "Unable to autofill the selected on this Page. Copy & Paste the Information Instead." This is quite annoying & is beginning to make me think that the useful & steady performance that I have depended on & had with the free Bitwarden Password Manager for 4 Years now is fading & getting downgraded/worse instead of the same or better. That which will in fact, have me switching to another free Password Manager if this persistent issue continues or I start having & seeing this same problem with my other Web Logins while trying to autofill my Credentials using Bitwarden Password Manager. It was once great in the past but is starting to fail as I am seeing & figuring out in the past Month or so...

Half the time the extension will auto suggest a password without actually saving to your vault afterwards. If you don't have that basic functionality to auto save new passwords reliably, why bother auto suggesting?

Incredible free app, you're doing great, keep it up! I love how they can monetize without stripping excellent features like passkey, encrypted notes, auto fill etc. Another great thing they don't limit the number of passwords stored.
