Description from store

- Complex installation on a Chromebook - probably not suited for each other. Once installed there are unpredictable restarts. Not recommended.

- pretty great password manager, however, since the last extension update "2026.2.0", the fill button disappears from the vault while using the search bar

- W konsoli Chrome leci mnóstwo błędów z tego rozszerzenia: bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:9562 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'includes') at AutofillOverlayContentService.<anonymous> (bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:9562:81) at Generator.next (<anonymous>) at bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:8522:71 at new Promise (<anonymous>) at autofill_overlay_content_service_awaiter (bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:8518:12) at AutofillOverlayContentService.setQualifiedLoginFillType (bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:9555:16) at AutofillOverlayContentService.isIgnoredField (bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:9530:23) at AutofillOverlayContentService.<anonymous> (bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:8981:22) at Generator.next (<anonymous>) at bootstrap-autofill-overlay.js:8522:71 Dość mocno to przeszkadza przy web developmencie, będzie 5 gwiazdek jak to naprawicie :)

- useful but the constant drop down Bitwarden menu for log ins is annoying and intrusitve.
- Arima B.
- Does not work on latest manjaro linux and github folks keep closing bug reports
- Phyllis Regalado
- I have been using it for years. I highly recommend it. It all began because, as a normal computer user, keeping track of every password and login became too much. I found myself using the same password over and over again. We all know how bad this is, so I needed something to keep track of these things and come up with strong passwords or let my fancy fly and make up my own, depending on how I feel. So there you go.

- Cannot read properties of null (reading 'toWrappedAccountCryptographicState') new version is broken, tested on many devices
- Eric Martin
- Same issue as 月光屋顶 and none of the autofills are working now.
- Hunter Vandel
- BEST EVER DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE
- Lukas Quast
- Since Weeks i have the bug to completely logout and login again because only entering password results in "login failed". Since today even normal login does not work, then after reopening, i only see a black window, and then opening after some minutes i am suddenly logged in????
- 月光屋顶
- Looks like a recent update introduced a null reference error in the autofill script. After digging into it, it turns out .includes() is being called on autofillFieldData.autoCompleteType without checking for null. This happens when an input element simply doesn't have an autocomplete attribute, which results in autoCompleteType being null and the content script throwing: TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'includes') Surely the code isn't assuming that input fields are expected to always have an autocomplete attribute? Because in real-world HTML, the opposite is usually true — most inputs don't have one.

- Very happy with Bitwarden over the years. It's a powerful password manager but it's missing some key features. Feature request: Proton Pass has Customizable Vault Item Templates and Additional Item Types (Predefined), like WiFi passwords, Database credentials, SSH, bank account information template, etc. Take a look at how Proton Pass implements "Create a Custom Item," its a very useful flow I wish Bitwarden would implement something similar. I would also like to see "Dates" (like a calendar type of thing) as a custom field type in addition to Text, Hidden, Checkbox, and Linked.

- Bitwarden is a great password manager, but the extension has a more and more difficult time handling login forms, often being unable to partially or fully fill out forms requiring a lot of copy-paste.
- William Mann
- I am a longtime user and have never had a problem with Bitwarden as an extension or app. It is cross platform and browser friendly. If nothing else it supplies me with a nice, safe, accessible password list.
- Paulo Pertierra
- It was great but then suddenly I think an update made it so that it kept phoning home to the Bitwarden server, I'm selfhosting my Vaultwarden server on a cloud instance and I am billed each request. Now that it's phoning home so many times periodically, every 10 minutes I think, the cost skyrocketed. What happened? It started February 12 I believe
- Dan Otomański
- It is very good app and helped me a lot in my casual daily work on mac
- Trevor Hall
- Brilliant service. I use it on the iPhone as well and have for years
- Gaz Da Spaztick Dreamer (Major Gaz)
- have there been any updates to your latest Compromise? this is concerning...
- J D Rex
- Have been a paid up subscriber for years and for a long time this was the most convenient pword ext to use, and i've tried nearly all of them. Recently tho I've come to hate it. It's slower than a wet week, and you can't ever rely on any of the features to work properly. I've just had to reinstall it yet again. Success seems to have resulted in complacency. Actively looking to replace it for good.
- Yaron Yanai
- Compared to Chrome's native password manager, This extension feels like it got stuck in the 1990s'. Really poor user experience, if you even get it to work. I expected more, sorry.
- Minh Nguyễn Hoàng
- The recent update version of this version prevent me to login using master password (Always said: "Invalid masterpassword") even I tried uninstall and install again, change the password, reset and restart. I have to login via Web App and Standalone app (Mac to copy & paste password)
- ledg
- Removing 3 stars bc the auto fill drop down options doesn't auto appear anymore. Now I have to click bitwarden's icon
- Ehsan Omid
- The best password manager.🥰
- ar palar
- Buggy and it will not lock sometimes even if i set to lock immediately.
- Ronen Eizen
- I want to love it, but my GOD, what do you need 1.5Gb of memory for??? It's the greatest resource hog I have on my computer right now, and I am a developer running multiple tools on it.
- Diego S.
- I can't use my passkeys anymore the extension never opens
- Vern DeMille
- No way to pop out large secure notes, get to scroll a tiny window 60 times. Asks to update my saved password on every login, even when not updating the password. Doesn't actually save changes to password about one in three times. Significantly worse than other managers I've used. Enterprise shared password handling is a joke. Oh and it wants to update everything with a remotely similar url.
- Zak Landers
- A recent update is causing a drop-down prompt for logging into Bitwarden to appear constantly now. It is obtrusive and tends to cover up the password field, login button, and other site elements, which interferes with navigation when I don't intend to log into Bitwarden. It's becoming annoying. Is there a way to disable this action?
- Jake Grabowski
- this extension is broken - we have premium plan with SSO and its not syncing and when I try to sign in again it is not working
- Arty
- Superb password manager, out of all the ones I have tested. No hidden paywalls, autofill working 90% of the time, advanced options and much more in free version. Gonna upgrade when the Bitwarden ecosystem grows a bit more.
- Cristian Solomon
- Bitwarden team, just test your shiFt before deploying to prod ffs. I use several browser profiles, so if you make me input my password in all my profiles because you've "decided" to ignore my setting on biometrics, and also if the password doesn't want to work at times while is correct... really now?!?
- Luca Genoni
- i have issues with login with an account registered on bitwarden.eu, it's said no account exists on bitwarden.com NO WAY?! I'm not even surpised ahahahah joke asides if you can enable .eu logins in the extension it would be a great feature
- dean O (DeanO)
- I run vaultwarden on closed server and the last update that was pushed out stop the chrome extenion from working keeps tell me wrong password but managed to login to website plus mobile app and desktop app.
- Tomáš Rohrer
- It is excruciating to share some secrets with someone else by using this extension. If you open the extension at the "Send" tab, start filling out the form, then click on a different tab in your browser to copy secret or whatever, the Bitwarden window closes. You lose all the data you've entered, with no option to continue. It's very annoying.
- Marty
- Not quite sure why these other people are having issues but by far this is hand down the best password manager i have seen on the market. Granted if your coming from a different password manager or Chrome it may take some getting used to but overall its not that complex. I used to use 1Password. I have paid access to Bitwarden and use the 2FA feature. Its not as complicated as people make it out but i would like to see a easier gui interface experience across all devices. They have made quite a few more advanced updates since i have started using over 7 yrs. Would be nice if the windows desktop version matched the extension and iPhone versions as they have different features and different displays but work very similar. I use it across Windows 11, Iphone, Chrome and Brave with no issues. In todays world of Security for your accounts they offer very complex passwords you can save and never have to remember them. Just need to remember your main password and the software handles the rest. Good Stuff Bitwarden Keep up the good work!
- Jack Stark
- Very pleased with product, works well. Secured my password vault with 2-factor (email to master password) then a third option that prompts for a code from Bitwarden authenticator on my phone. I also backup my vault regularly and encrypt it.
- Con za
- Can we get the ability to archive things e.g. credit cards; that are old/expired - out of the line up.
- Running Wild
- Pros: - Free Cons: - Slow and getting slower every week - UI issue - "fill" button should be "edit" - Rarely detects the login on the page any more - Many sites don't work, including aliexpress
- Nathan Holt
- generally great i am occasionally getting chromium issues with it not auto filling though. for those getting login issues click the "Developer mode" switch on the extension management page and press the update button. its in my experience chrome failing to check for updates.
- Ahmed Al-Obaidi
- Works great - for the most part. I use Brave browser, and every now and then there's a compatibility issue (eg does not auto fill, or does not auto save a generated password) But all in all, a good extension.
- Bill Barnes
- Can't pick a star All I have is a screen with your name on it an a tab allowing me to remove it from Chrome. So far I am not impressed. I was told you folks understood KISS. Prove it.
- Jessi Kennedy
- Was great, but past few months has gone downhill. Unreliable if the extension will actually let me even log in or just hang with a black box. Kinda defeats the whole purpose. Even reboot, disable all other extensions does not resolve the issue. Sad, because otherwise I like Bitwarden and don't look forward to moving everything on 2 laptops and phone to another password manager.
- Muhammad Hassan
- I like it but the biometric option does not work in brave browser. Please fix it
- Frank Avanzo
- Best password manager I have ever used and the extension works great and is easy to use. I am running Windows 11 with the Chrome browser.
- Terry Speakman
- Great extension but just found one bug items with no folder displays 0 results when there are quite a few without a folder
