• (2024-02-12) Alberiansyah: This extension has conflict with Internet Download Manager. With uknown reason my download will be handled by browser and couple second after, IDM starting download too. When i disable this extension all download are handled again by IDM i dont know why.

I don't care. Give me an option to turn off any and all popups related to features that are not free. Heck, the extension shouldn't even be allowed to create these popups. It's a popup BLOCKER, not maker. The only redeeming factor is that this behavior is still very rare. But I have no doubts that it's just a matter of time.

The only reason I've installed this extension is to stop intrusive pop-ups. What made you think I'd be ok with the extension adding an unclosable pop-up on every website? Un-installing it and never installing it again. it "used to be" good, now it just acts like an adware. pop-ups are pop-ups. if you've created an add-on to stop pop-ups, you shouldn't add one permanent ad on every webpage I visit.

Now seeing popups saying "This site has trackers on you!" and begging us to upgrade to premium so they can get rid of them. Also, the icon up in the extensions bar now has a permanent "!" on every website to catch the eye. This extension acts as malware behavior now.

From Poper Blocker. I literally need an adblock for my adblockers now, you guys have become the evil you swore to destroy. Edit: 6 months later, lowering it to 1*. I don't know why I didn't get rid of it earlier, but now I am. They've gone insane with the popups saying 'This site has trackers on you!' and begging for me to upgrade to premium so they can get rid of them. I have an adblocker. If they weren't injecting ads I wouldn't be seeing them to begin with. edit again: now there's actual factual real pop ups from the extension itself. "oh no there's a tracker on this website give us money and we'll remove it!" yeah get out of here, geez. And all these paid reviews are super obvious since they only say one or two words and give 5* meanwhile basically every other review is negative with actual feedback.

Then the devs got greedy, and it now begs all the time to be "upgrade to pro", ironically by.... you guessed it... generating a popup on most websites. With a hidden coloured cross so its hard to see how to even close it, but a bright "go pro now!" button. What a joke. Devs, you should be ashamed of yourself. Everyone, avoid this now. Such a shame.

  I'm assuming u recently updated cuz I no longer see the icon on my bar and now I have these annoying notifications that flash across my screen. Before you gave the option to disable the onscreen notification when something was blocked, why switch it to this? Also I liked that I could see the numeric tally of block pop ups cuz that told me whether I would bother with the site at all. Can I download the previous version somewhere?

  Replacing popups with an "infobar" is as annoying as the popup itself. You had it right with the small notification on the icon. Notification within the address bar would also work. Stats of popups blocked also vanished. Why? It's a shame, but if this doesn't change soon, I'll be uninstalling a formerly excellent extension.
