- Ignore the high score and volume of ratings. Maybe this app was great in the past, but not anymore. My first and biggest complaint is it introduced more than a bit of lag into Chrome: while scrolling, on scroll-over, on click, everything. Went through an extensive troubleshooting process where I optimized every system and browser setting I could think of as well as reviewed every active extension. Night and day difference having this disabled. My specs are good enough where this should've never been an issue so I knew something was up. Second, and likely not coincidentally, this extension harvests your data. Why does it need access to my entire browsing history? Best case scenario, even if said harvesting wouldn't explain the lag I experienced, it would simply mean it's poorly coded and/or optimized. Third, the extension fails to do the one thing it's supposed to do well: block popups. Some it would block, but others would come through freely. And as others have pointed out, standard ad blocking has come a long way over the years. There's little need for this to begin with. Don't blindly follow the crowd, folks, as I once did.

- actually really helpful in movie websites and while shopping it removes pop ups super quickly without you even noticing there are some delays tho but really good overall. Thank you for the creators of this extension!! <3

- it worked once upon a time for me along with 2 other ad blocker apps. but for the past month or so i still get pop ups on my manga and novel sites. main reason i got the pop up blocker as there are young kids around when i'm reading and the pop ups are rated 21+. i'll try removing it and reinstalling it, if that works i'll change my review.

- need to agree to let them share your data for 'advanced blocking'....that didnt even block anything. now my email is getting all sorts of spam! avoid!

- Quite buggy. For some websites it doesnt block the annoying cookies popup. And for some websites it does block then but then the entire website is slightly dimmed and unusable. not sure why but deactivating the extension fixed the issue so im removing it.

- It used to be great. Unfortunately, the developers decided they no longer wanted to be generous and monetized it. Even if it was free, it would be useless anyway. Pop-ups are already blocked and blocked HARD by practically every browser nowadays. There is no need for an extension that does this anymore.
