Esta extensión para el cuidado de la vista habilita el modo nocturno al crear temas oscuros para sitios web sobre la marcha. Dark Reader invierte los colores brillantes, haciéndolos de alto contraste y fáciles de leer por la noche.

- Love this extension and used to use it everywhere, but for some reason of late it's causing pages to not load properly and I have to disable it on a lot of different sites when I didn't used to. I'm not sure if this is an update to the extension causing this and is just a bug or if these websites are all getting very picky about extensions modifying the loading process and refusing to load when they detect an extension in the way. I may have to just get rid of this because it's impacting my ability to work in the browser with it enabled.

- I really like this, I have it installed on Chrome, Opera & Brave. There is this strange behavior in Brave I can not get rid of, that is that when I open a new tab it's always white (not dark) and when I go to that tab it is always says "reload this page to apply your updated settings on this site", when I do it becomes dark as it should be. Only in Brave. Perhaps there is a solution for this?

- Great extension. Flips colors naturally while keeping all items as visible as they are in the site's original (non-dark) layout. Very simple to use and highly customizable: You can easily fine tune the darkness intensity. For instance, if you prefer a dark grey theme over a completely black one, it can be easily adjusted. Highly recommended!

- Although very useful and a great relief to eye strain it's not always accurate and the inverted colours which are displayed aren't always visually appealing compared to the original colours. Ironically the Chrome web Store shows in light as opposed to dark!

- This is what I've been waiting for. I spend a lot of time looking at screens and this makes life so much better. I like it so much I've bought a copy this will help to fund continued development.

- It was good at first, but later I noticed my Task Manager’s CPU usage suddenly spiking because of my browser. Upon further inspection, the underlying issue was, in fact, caused by this extension. After disabling it, my CPU usage returned to normal.

- Its nearly perfect! In the google chat all your replies looks white could red what have been replied , when you refresh the page its comes back to black. that only thing is drawback and making me to uninstall

- It's good, but it doesn't even work on chrome web store

- Could've been perfect, but has a fatal flaw. Everything is dark, and yet the extension breaks during transitions and - bam! - the screen goes white and brights you in the face. For example, if you're on Chrome, everything is dark, but the moment you go to the address bar to type in a web address, the extension can't handle it, so while you're typing up there, everything goes back to white and flashes you, which is very unpleasant. It gets dark again once you've stopped typing in the address bar and have arrived at the new page, but this kind of "edge case" keeps happening. I need an extension that will stay dark.

- so far this has given much better results than the nighteye plugin. I had to switch that one off or try filtered mode for quite a few sites but this one has worked flawlessly on just about every site i typically use. This site asks you to pay $10 bucks to have permanent access to the plugin while nighteye baits you with a free trial, and then doesn't even allow you to purchase, but they let you SUBSCRIBE. I'm actually gonna throw these guys the $10 because it's a one time cost for a good product imo.

- Even if a PDF looks black text on white, it will print all black with white text!!! That cost me like $50 bones in toner.

- I liked this extension before the last update. I used it for maybe 6 months or more. After the latest update (4.9.119) I have had to disable it because after a few minutes of use it turns my entire browser orange. Not just the website part of the browser, the WHOLE thing, including all the toolbars and tab bar, bookmark bar, etc, it's ALL orange. I can't even disable the extension when the orange bug activates because the extension page is also orange. And I did try but the Dark Reader keyboard shortcuts don't disable the orange. There is some bug there that needs to be fixed. Pretty much makes it unusable. I am using Brave Browser (which is built on chromium). Hoping it gets fixed in the next update.

- I have tried several dark mode extensions for Chrome, and this one is by far the best I have tried. Reasons below: 1. It works. Many others simply do not work or they are very slow. 2. It immediately changes your screen to dark/light mode when you toggle it. Others make you refresh your page or take a while to change your screen. 3. It changes all your tabs at once. I don't like how other ones make you go to every single tab and manually change each one to dark mode. This one changes all of them. If you don't want it to, you can change that though. 4. It does not simply invert the colors of your pages. It knows what to darken, and I have not had an experience where it puts dark text over the dark background. 5. It doesn't slow down your Chrome like many other extensions.

- After years of using this I could confirm it is a good extension however it does have some flaws for example sometimes duo the bird on duolingo looks like a demon and white on rubiks cube solver is black on the rubiks cube but over all a good extension most of the time.

- Not a review per se, but a suggestion: don't think everyone willing to support its devs can afford to pay 10€ for an extension, even if it is a one-time life payment which you know you cannot guarantee. I do support this effort, but you weren't willing to allow a slider for small contributions.
