Mit der Erweiterung können Sie schnell zwischen den drei verfügbaren Modi wechseln
➤ Dunkel – Wechseln Sie in den vollständigen Dunkelmodus. Alle Farben, kleinen Bilder und Symbole werden konvertiert, um Ihnen ein möglichst glattes dunkles Erlebnis zu bieten.
➤ Gefiltert – Die Farben der Websites werden nicht geändert, aber Sie können dennoch Helligkeit, Kontrast, Wärme und mehr anpassen.
➤ Normal – Kehren Sie zum normalen Surferlebnis zurück.

ANPASSUNGSMÖGLICHKEITEN
Alle Änderungen, die Sie vornehmen, wie z. B. Kontraststufenanpassung, Blaulichtfilter usw., können auf eine einzelne Website oder global angewendet werden.
➤ Bilder - Night Eye analysiert und konvertiert nur die kleinen Bilder und Symbole auf einer Website, um Ihnen ein noch reibungsloseres Erlebnis zu bieten. Facebook-Posts und andere wichtige Medien werden nicht konvertiert.
➤ Helligkeit/Sättigung/Kontrast – Stellen Sie die Helligkeit, den Kontrast und die Sättigung so ein, dass sie den empfohlenen gesunden Werten entsprechen und Ihre Augen schützen. Die Standardeinstellung für jeden ist 50 %, aber Sie können jeden an die bevorzugten Stufen anpassen
➤ Blaues Licht - Schützen Sie Ihre Augen, indem Sie das blaue Licht Ihres Bildschirms eliminieren. Sehr empfehlenswert, besonders während des nächtlichen Surfens. Einfach auf die bevorzugte Wärmestufe schieben.
➤ Dimmen – Äußerst nützlich, wenn Sie in einem dunklen Raum/Raum arbeiten und der Bildschirm die einzige Lichtquelle im Raum ist. Die Standardeinstellung ist auf 50 % eingestellt, aber Sie können sie nach Belieben anpassen.

- I’ve been using the Night Eye extension for a while now, especially during late-night study and browsing sessions, and it’s honestly been a relief for my eyes. It turns almost any website into dark mode, even those that don’t have a dark theme built in. That alone makes it super useful. What I like most is how customizable it is. You can adjust brightness, contrast, and even reduce blue light, which really helps when you’re staring at a screen for hours. It also lets you turn it on or off for specific websites, which is great because not every site looks perfect in dark mode. That said, it’s not flawless. Some websites don’t display properly and the colors can look a little off sometimes. I’ve also noticed that on heavier websites, it can slow things down a bit. Another downside is that most of the good features are locked behind the paid version, which might not feel worth it for everyone.

- As someone with chronic and very bad floaters, bright screens are a nightmare especially as a college student. However, night eye is my genuine savior and I have been using it constantly since July 2024 and cannot recommend a better dark mode app! It makes things easier to use, less distracting, and makes studying bearable. For this with floaters, I would say its more than worth a try!

- It wants me to sign up for their subscription service and pay them $15 to $20 a year or $50 to buy the extension. That price is a ripoff for a browser extension that brings nothing new or unique features to the table when compared to all the other dark mode extensions. All the other dark mode extensions are free to use on every website. If I don't pay to use this extension, I can only use Night Eye on 5 websites. This is ridiculous considering there are better dark mode extensions than this one that are free to use on all website. Like the extensions Shade Dark Mode, Dark Reader, Dark Mode, Dark Night Mode..., are all free with better functionality that this pay/rent extension.

- I do not like reading on a white background I find it to be too, too bright for me. It doesn't matter if it's day or night for me. Some websites do offer dark-mode however they are far and few between. I decided to look for an app or extension. I came across Night Eye I've had it for two days now and I am over the moon with this extension. If my eyes could talk they'd holla bye bye bright hello night. I also like that I can purchase this extension for life I'm so tired of in app purchases that want to squeeze you all the time. Night Eye does offer plans at reasonable prices however I prefer to own whenever possible. I am so happy with Night Eye I am on my devices a lot I must confess and now it a much better experience.

The only issue I have is that it sometimes affects the formatting of some things I post, but this is easily remedied by turning off access temporarily, finishing what I was working on, posting it, then turning Night Eye back on.
