- I’ve been using the Night Eye extension for a while now, especially during late-night study and browsing sessions, and it’s honestly been a relief for my eyes. It turns almost any website into dark mode, even those that don’t have a dark theme built in. That alone makes it super useful. What I like most is how customizable it is. You can adjust brightness, contrast, and even reduce blue light, which really helps when you’re staring at a screen for hours. It also lets you turn it on or off for specific websites, which is great because not every site looks perfect in dark mode. That said, it’s not flawless. Some websites don’t display properly and the colors can look a little off sometimes. I’ve also noticed that on heavier websites, it can slow things down a bit. Another downside is that most of the good features are locked behind the paid version, which might not feel worth it for everyone.

- As someone with chronic and very bad floaters, bright screens are a nightmare especially as a college student. However, night eye is my genuine savior and I have been using it constantly since July 2024 and cannot recommend a better dark mode app! It makes things easier to use, less distracting, and makes studying bearable. For this with floaters, I would say its more than worth a try!

- Night Eye has completely changed how I browse the web at night or in low light. I love how it applies a consistent, comfortable dark theme to every website, even ones that don't have a native dark mode. The colors are well-balanced and easy on the eyes, without any weird inversion or broken images. The setup was instant, and it works seamlessly across all my tabs. - It wants me to sign up for their subscription service and pay them $15 to $20 a year or $50 to buy the extension. That price is a ripoff for a browser extension that brings nothing new or unique features to the table when compared to all the other dark mode extensions. All the other dark mode extensions are free to use on every website. If I don't pay to use this extension, I can only use Night Eye on 5 websites. This is ridiculous considering there are better dark mode extensions than this one that are free to use on all website. Like the extensions Shade Dark Mode, Dark Reader, Dark Mode, Dark Night Mode..., are all free with better functionality that this pay/rent extension.

- I do not like reading on a white background I find it to be too, too bright for me. It doesn't matter if it's day or night for me. Some websites do offer dark-mode however they are far and few between. I decided to look for an app or extension. I came across Night Eye I've had it for two days now and I am over the moon with this extension. If my eyes could talk they'd holla bye bye bright hello night. I also like that I can purchase this extension for life I'm so tired of in app purchases that want to squeeze you all the time. Night Eye does offer plans at reasonable prices however I prefer to own whenever possible. I am so happy with Night Eye I am on my devices a lot I must confess and now it a much better experience.

I stare at computer monitor for hours on end every day, and Night Eye has helped decreased my eye strain dramatically. The only issue I have is that it sometimes affects the formatting of some things I post, but this is easily remedied by turning off access temporarily, finishing what I was working on, posting it, then turning Night Eye back on.

- I love this extension! Honestly, full stars. It makes managing websites so easy and consistently applies dark mode correctly. Many other dark mode extensions don’t handle colours as nicely, but every website I’ve visited with Night Eye looks perfect and is easy on the eyes. Highly recommend!

- I spend a lot of time on my computer, often late at night, and the bright white screens were causing a lot of eye strain. I decided to try the Night Eye extension, and it has been a game-changer/great help for my browsing experience. What I love most is how the extension doesn't just invert colors like some other options. It uses a smart color conversion that makes websites actually look good and readable, without making images or icons look weird. It works seamlessly on almost every site I visit. The customization options are also a big plus; I can adjust the brightness and add a blue light filter which really helps my eyes.

- well. i mean, it works. and i appreciate that it it allows the opportunity for you to extend your free full-access subscription trial further by an additional month for fulfilling each of every one of the provided 'offers' in which you may choose to partake (I.E.; such as, perhaps, maybe writing and publishing a review on the Chrome Web Store... but that's just what only a hypothetical example of this could be...). i will now only have one 'offer' that i have left available to extend my free trial after i post this review, and i have zero intention of actually continuing with the paid subscription. so, here's to my final 60 days folks. godspeed.
