Met Night Eye kunt u op bijna alle websites de donkere modus inschakelen, waardoor de leesbaarheid wordt verbeterd en vermoeide ogen worden verminderd in omgevingen met weinig licht. Het biedt ook aanpassingsmogelijkheden zoals aanpassingen van helderheid, contrast en verzadiging, evenals een blauwlichtfilter om de ogen te beschermen. Plus, met de mogelijkheid om ingebouwde donkere thema's op ondersteunde websites te beheren, heb je volledige controle over je online ervaring.

Deze extensie analyseert de kleuren van elke webpagina en converteert ze om u een vloeiende en consistente donkere modus te geven. Er is geen andere manier waarop de extensie de kleuren kan converteren zonder het recht om er toegang toe te hebben.
We verzamelen echter nooit uw gegevens. Ons bedrijfsmodel is gebaseerd op abonnementen en niet op het opslaan en verkopen van uw gegevens. Last but not least, we zijn ook internetgebruikers en willen niet slecht zijn.
Vanaf Chrome-versie 86 zijn alle nieuwe extensies nu verborgen in het menu "extensies" naast de url-balk. Om het pictogram van Night Eye tevoorschijn te halen, moet je het vastzetten. Bekijk de bovenstaande screenshots voor meer details.
Onze extensie is volledig compatibel met het nieuwste manifest V3. Er zijn slechts enkele beperkingen.

Met de extensie kun je snel schakelen tussen de drie beschikbare modi
➤ Donker - Ga naar de volledig donkere modus. Alle kleuren, kleine afbeeldingen en pictogrammen worden geconverteerd om u de meest vloeiende donkere ervaring te geven.
➤ Gefilterd - De kleuren van de websites worden niet gewijzigd, maar u kunt nog steeds de helderheid, het contrast, de warmte en meer aanpassen.
➤ Normaal - Ga terug naar de normale browse-ervaring.

AANPASSINGSOPTIES
Alle wijzigingen die u aanbrengt, zoals aanpassing van het contrastniveau, blauwlichtfilter en dergelijke, kunnen worden toegepast op een enkele website of wereldwijd.
➤ Afbeeldingen - Night Eye analyseert en converteert alleen de kleine afbeeldingen en pictogrammen in een website om u een nog soepelere ervaring te bieden. Facebook-berichten en andere belangrijke media worden niet geconverteerd.
➤ Helderheid / verzadiging / contrast - pas de helderheid, het contrast en de verzadiging aan om overeen te komen met de aanbevolen gezonde niveaus en uw ogen te beschermen. De standaardinstelling voor elk is 50%, maar u kunt elk aanpassen aan de gewenste niveaus
➤ Blauw licht - Zorg voor je ogen door het blauwe licht dat van je scherm komt te elimineren. Sterk aanbevolen, vooral tijdens het browsen 's avonds laat. Schuif gewoon naar het gewenste warmteniveau.
➤ Dim - Zeer handig als u in een donkere ruimte/kamer werkt en het scherm de enige lichtbron in de kamer is. De standaardinstelling is ingesteld op 50%, maar u kunt dit naar wens aanpassen.

However, a big issue I've noticed is a white flicker when it loads in websites into dark mode, as if the website is being loaded in, the white color gets loaded, then it gets quickly changed. This part really sucks, as it means I'm still getting flashbanged by my computer screen when I use it during the night. Other site specific Dark Mode extensions, such as Google Drive Dark Mode and Google Docs Dark Mode, don't have this issue.
- (2025-07-02) Aldet: Generally I really dislike having any service that uses a subscription or a free trial, because I know the free trial is not going to be as good and subscriptions are generally not worth it, specially for dark mode, since I think it should be a native free feature of any site already. The case was a little different with this extension. The free trial was pretty good but I don't plan on buying it. Would consider if it was a lifetime payment with a low price, like WinRAR. About the extension, I tested a lot of options and this was the best one by far. The dark mode is visually pleasing in almost every site, but I think it has too many sites that the extension doesn't work. The elements of the page also need polishing sometimes, as black elements with white text, for example, get turned to white elements with white text. I currently have to use the extension alongside the force dark pages feature from Opera GX, as I toggle some sites on and off on both dark mode options. Overall, good experience with the extension.

It works for almost all websites and still leaves them readable and usable while turning down the overwhelming brightness that some sites have. I will be a user for the foreseeable future and can't thank them enough for helping to save my eyes and make web browsing way more tolerable.
