- Works PERFECTLY. Wonderful design. Simple canvas overlay you can drag on the video player. Customizable fonts and subtitles. This was EXACTLY what I needed. Makes the CrunchyRoll subscription worth it for me.

- It doesn't work for all shows if you are doing languages like French to English. Even if the show was in French, it needed CC subtitles to work properly. Found it a show that it did work for [Gachiakuta] but the subtitles aren't the translated French CC, but the translated Japanese sub-titles. I assume this because I understand enough French to know when a translation is completely wrong, but it becomes evident when the subtitles aren't timed the same. Not only that, you cant binge a show because there's a limit to how much dual translations you get a day. I think this would be worth its money (or just using it) if you could get ALL dubbed shows to have the captions of the target language with accurate translation from the target language in your spoken language. It would be a 5 star chrome add-on if you could directly hover over words you don't know and get a translation from google translate or any similar sites. minimal help and you honestly would be better off translating phrases with ChatGPT than this.

- i don't know why crunchyroll wont let me update the closed captions but this app allows me to change the font and background now so my wishes have been granted. 4 stars because i cant put the font size above 50 and it's still really small on screen. really awesome how you can move the subtitles around and they track to the window.

- TL;DR at the bottom A simple enough extension! Install, swap to the dub I want, and it automatically detected the show and gave me appropriate subtitles, but It does break pretty easily. I swapped dubs back and forth to check if it was translating accurately (It seems fine, but I only tested a few sentences.) and IMMEDIATELY it stops displaying. (It really likes giving up. You can have two sets of subtitles, and in one instance I had double English instead of the EN/ESP combo I was after) Not sure what causes that. I also don't like that it defaults to the top of the display, rather than the bottom like how subtitles are usually formatted, but you can just drag it down to the bottom so it's not a big deal. I'm curious where it is sourcing the subtitles from, because the Spanish dub for a show did not match the Spanish subtitles, even though it didn't mark them as MT. (Machine Translated) My guess, for the non-MT ones, would have been that it is based on the subtitles used by Crunchyroll itself when listening to Japanese audio which is what led to the inconsistency, but those match the dub way better. ("¿Que si estoy triste?" is the line in both dub and sub, but the plugin's supposedly not MTL'd Spanish is "¿Estás preguntando si es dificul?" Where did you get that from??) TL;DR: 1. It's simple to use, and whilst I can't vouch for how accurate it is, at least seems on point with a couple lines. 2. It seems to randomly stop working when changing settings. 3. I have NO idea where the subtitles are from, because they're not from Crunchyroll's servers! This makes me doubt the implication of it not being machine translated.
