- I’ve been using the Night Eye extension for a while now, especially during late-night study and browsing sessions, and it’s honestly been a relief for my eyes. It turns almost any website into dark mode, even those that don’t have a dark theme built in. That alone makes it super useful. What I like most is how customizable it is. You can adjust brightness, contrast, and even reduce blue light, which really helps when you’re staring at a screen for hours. It also lets you turn it on or off for specific websites, which is great because not every site looks perfect in dark mode. That said, it’s not flawless. Some websites don’t display properly and the colors can look a little off sometimes. I’ve also noticed that on heavier websites, it can slow things down a bit. - It wants me to sign up for their subscription service and pay them $15 to $20 a year or $50 to buy the extension. That price is a ripoff for a browser extension that brings nothing new or unique features to the table when compared to all the other dark mode extensions. All the other dark mode extensions are free to use on every website. If I don't pay to use this extension, I can only use Night Eye on 5 websites. This is ridiculous considering there are better dark mode extensions than this one that are free to use on all website. Like the extensions Shade Dark Mode, Dark Reader, Dark Mode, Dark Night Mode..., are all free with better functionality that this pay/rent extension.

- When using Google, I have this issue where I have to step away because the brightness just hurts my eyes so much I can't even think. Thanks to Dark Mode - Night Eye, I no longer have this issue.

- I do not like reading on a white background I find it to be too, too bright for me. It doesn't matter if it's day or night for me. Some websites do offer dark-mode however they are far and few between. I decided to look for an app or extension. I came across Night Eye I've had it for two days now and I am over the moon with this extension. If my eyes could talk they'd holla bye bye bright hello night. I also like that I can purchase this extension for life I'm so tired of in app purchases that want to squeeze you all the time. Night Eye does offer plans at reasonable prices however I prefer to own whenever possible. I am so happy with Night Eye I am on my devices a lot I must confess and now it a much better experience.

I stare at computer monitor for hours on end every day, and Night Eye has helped decreased my eye strain dramatically. The only issue I have is that it sometimes affects the formatting of some things I post, but this is easily remedied by turning off access temporarily, finishing what I was working on, posting it, then turning Night Eye back on.
